Don't want to hear about White playing a bad defense

I only create a separate thread for the JetNation post game recap every once in a while, but I'm sure we're going to hear quite a bit about White playing a soft defense so wanted to drop this one in here.

Soft defense or not...MW hit the same throws ZW was given, who missed by a country mile.

If it were that easy to do it against bad defenses we'd be seeing half the qbs with Stat lines like that every week and we don't.

The funny thing here is when the Jets won a couple of game against second string QB's you didn't give them credit. Now that the Jets won with a second string QB PEOPLE are making excuses they won cause the other team were missing a few guys? We were missing our whole backfield, QB1, and some lineman. We won dude! This is the NFL, replacement Players. injuries  are part of the game. When you realize that depth is more IMPORTANT  THEN STARS, YOU'LL KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN!

props to Mike White for looking great vs a down Bears team in the rain. no guarantee ZW would have looked nearly as good considering the available data.

just don't want to get my hopes up just to have them crushed again next week.

C'mon, that's what being a Jets fan is all about.

He played great and will do well next week as well imo.  Our worry for next week is how our D vs the vikings

Except for the part where there's no reason other than blind faith to believe Zach Wilson would have looked good against them.  White looked better throwing short passes on that first drive than Zach has looked at any point as a Jet.
