Yes.

I want 2-0 but 1-1 is fine.

Oh, I want to have Scarlett Johansson sit on my face and fart in my mouth tonight…

But I’ll gladly take my wife and Delores Claiborne performing the job instead…

Are you even listening to yourself?

We make no compromises anymore. We win with Mike White. And if Zach Wilson wants to make a fuss then he can do so alongside Sam Darnold in some sort of silly, dilapidated van down by a river somewhere.

Preferably Detroit

i think they're 2 winnable games, but if we drop one, so be it. It wouldn't be the same sense of "what are we doing..."  I'm happy to ride out the season with MW and see what that looks like.

I don't know what it is about him, but MW inspires the - that's my Quarterback - phrase in a way i just couldn't get there with ZW

Pass D's coming up are bad to below average.  Viking's pass D is supposedly one of the worst in the league, minus their ints.  I think if White Lightning can show that he's really learned from last year and play smart/limit mistakes, we should be fine winning any remaining game on our schedule.

What we can't afford is to lay an egg against Lions, Jags or Seahawks.  Our D needs to take care of business those games and win handily.  Win those 3 at least and we'll be at 10 wins.

I think we’re up sh*ts creek without a paddle in regards to QB, to be honest.

Jets fans feel nice and rosy right now, sure…but I’m reasonably sure that it’s akin to how Washington fans have felt about Tyler Heineke for the last couple of years.

Sure, White is probably the best you have in correlation to your current starter, but who truly buys him as a 5+ year solution?

White looked in command today, as he has largely done throughout his 4 starts minus the Buffalo disaster last year.

But the fact remains that this was the first full game he has made it through without some sort of injury.

I think this is shaping up to be a lesser version of the 2009/2010 Jets squads.

Where we had a Top 2-3 defense, great running game (now solid), and great OL (now solid) coupled with a sizable question mark at QB.

I guess we’ll see how it plays out.

I would love for White to step up and prove he’s the guy, but something tells me we’ll be constantly debating Garoppolo vs Carr vs drafting the highest rated QB on the board from January throughout March/April.

I’m very perplexed by this

are Kathy Bates and your wife both involved in the farting / sitting situation?

I'm uncharacteristically more optimistic than you -- but eitherway, at least we're moving forward. I felt like it was a charade with ZW. If ZW 2.0 comes out of this in the future, great, but 1.0 needed to die.

Yes

And Scarlett Johansson playing a game of peekaboo with her ass and my mouth is more of a gratifying thought than than my wife and Kathy Bates doing the same.

As is Zach Wilson playing QB for the NY Jets vs Mike White.

Or vice versa…

Goddammit, you know what I mean!

i think 10 wins gets us in. if we beat the teams we should, Lions and Jags thats 9 wins. so we need at least one on the road against 4 good teams. so yeah i would take 8-5. that is until we win next week then i want 9-4 . lol

Seahawks are also beatable at their house if the Raiders can beat them though they are a closer trip then we are, though that is after our mini bye so we will get 10 days before the west coast trip.

The question has nothing to do with Zach Wilson.  Or the fact that Scarlett Johansson is never going to sit on your face.

We don't have a cup cake left on the schedule.  Detroit and Jax aren't give me games.  Lawrence is starting to ball out.  We go 3 and 3 down the stretch or 4 and 2 this is a great year.  We probably get into the playoffs.  Nice to beat either Buffalo or Miami and at least go 3 and 3 in our division.

If Mike White can play well under pressure and the OL gets a little healthier we have a great shot at 10 to 12 wins.

Minnesota is the game to get. Their pass defense is not good. The biggest challenge next week is not on the offense but on the Defense coming up with a way to slow down Jefferson and Cook.

Spread is only 3.5 for Vikings so they’re saying teams are basically even with mike white.  Game is winnable.

This 2022 Jets team are contenders with average NFL QB play.

I feel this team can beat any team going forward.  Will they?  Who Knows, that is why they play the game.  However, I expect to win every game going forward.

If we do lose to a good team, which will probably happen over the next few games, so be it, but I do expect to win (be in) every game.

I'd imagine there is no outcome where we don't add another QB in 2023

White plays really well - White vs Minshew

White sort of fizzles - Jimmy G

I don't know.

If Mike White goes out and finish 4-2 over the last 6 - and wins a playoff game.  And looks, kinda, like he looked yesterday (not necessarily that level of numbers - but clearly running the offense with efficiency)

Tough to think they don't go with Mike White as the incumbent and probably Zach as the back up.

Yea it's definitely not as cut and dry as I put it. If Mike balls out and gets us a win in the playoffs you are probably right. It may depend how much money he is asking for too. Free Agency is a long way away, plenty of time for Douglas to make a change, especially of it is Jimmy G or Carr.

I agree we're adding a vet next year but it will be fascinating to see which one.  Hard to imagine the FO is fully confident that ZW is the guy going forward.  But MW is supposedly a FA after this year and, no matter how well he plays, are the Jets going to commit big money and years to keep him after only a handful of games?  I guess SF did with Jimmy G (he went 5-0 for them and they gave him a record contract) but it's still a question mark.  And guys like TB12 and Rodgers (along with Jimmy G) will be available.

JD might have some big decisions to make.  Though let's see how the rest of the season plays out first.  Let's hope MW can keep this up.
