I thought the same thing... if Zach is done here because he was downgraded by his lack of play against NE & Mike White was given the opportunity & Blows Up... History would have gone full circle... Moe Lewis knocked out Bledsoe which gave rise to Brady....

It’s so weird in what reality would a coach put Zach back in right now? Nothing against Zach, kids needed a chance to learn the the game  from the very first snap he took last year. No shame,  just tragically over drafted and then tossed in to an offense that was a year away from competing.

As long as white plays ok there is zero chance they make a change.  But at this point there is zero reason to tell the world that Zach is done for the year. Let Zach think there is a chance so he works his ass off to be ready just in case.

I wouldn’t trust him to be the backup 

If the playoffs are on the line, I’d roll with Flacco if — God forbid — something happens to MW

Flacco is 1-2 but you have to remember that he faced the Ravens and Bengals — 2 playoff teams — and that the Jet defense was a mess the first 3 weeks of the season
