Bam knight punt /kick returns?

Had me thinking that if berrios got injured, Jeff smith was the next guy up as the return man.  But if they play mims over smith, they need another guy to do that, so that may also explain why knight plays over smith.  They need the rb more than smith as a wr.

Well, he hardly ever gets to run them back from what I’ve seen. His fair catches have been legit and he hasn’t dropped them. Still a good player for us. Gives his all, though some may dream of a day when players like Berrios … er … never mind.

Berrios is very sure handed and has proven ability to take it to the house when the opportunity presents. I think his fair catch numbers seem legit, and he’s earned that trust. I agree that Knight absolutely looks like he has that ability, but I wouldn’t entertain turning such an important role over to a rookie we just elevated from the PS, while we are in the middle of a legit post season run.

Let Berrios continue the return role. I wanna see more of Knight on offense though for sure.

Not sure why any change is needed from Berrios.  He's as sure handed as they come on punts.  Kickoff returns are basically obsolete in the NFL, and BB does fine with those too.  Oh yeah, he was a Pro Bowler last year.

Let's manufacture Bam's touches on offense.

One of his fair catches last week was on a short punt in the rain while sliding forward with a slippery ball to prevent a bounce and 20 yard roll. He also had a nice close to 20 yard return.

Bam led the nation in kickoff returns last year, so I could see him stepping in for Berrios or sharing the duties sometime in the future.

The biggest thing I want in a punt returner is to be sure-handed. Berrios has been that. He's not the best punt returner, but he's reliable AF and doesn't lose the game for us like so many punt returners have over the years. 

And he's a very good kick returner.

Bam should be nowhere near punt or kick returns.  He is our starting rb for the rest of the year and that should be his only role.

And he's a very good kick returner. 

Very sure handed which is #1.just never feel he is going to break one.he does a nice job not a great job.

Implying that Braxton Berrios is gutless? I've watched every single one of them and I just don't see where he could be taking the chances

First thing a punt returner needs to do is catch the ball which Berrios does very well. Ask the Giants if they would want him back there fielding punts as they still might have there #1 cornerback on the field this week for the WFT

My daughter is a jets fan she is 13 months. I'm so glad we have Mike white so she can learn what a touch down is. It took a while with just Zach to show her.
