Every Throw Against the Bills

The throw at 2:10 to Moore is sick. 

Also, another hit put of bounds on Wilson and no flag.

Too much Berrios in these big spots. I know they wanted to give Elijah Moore more slot targets, but if Davis is going to be out, it can’t be Berrios playing the X receiver. Just lunacy. On the 3rd and 1 at the end, White throws it through the tire to get it to Berrios at the 2, and Berrios gets two hands on it but gets smushed. Get a bigger target out there so White doesn’t have to paint the black in that tiny strike zone. Way too much cuteness by LaFleur. I think he’s stuck in a mode where he thinks his team is overmatched and he has to outsmart everyone, but that’s not the case right now. Just line up and play ball.

I thought the same exact thing. It seems like they go to Berrios at a lot of crucial times. We really need to get another WR in FA. JD needs to spend now. Time to load up.

Good to see you guys finally see that lefleur was the real problem with this offense

The entire reason Berrios is still here is because he’s the only receiver who doesn’t hate Zach.

I think if that was Davis in that spot it’s a completion. For some reason, Garrett Wilson is on the other side of the field. Why not just line Wilson up there and try your best player? The Bills are in a zone, so it’s not like they’d shift coverage to him. Strange strange strange.

Man, there were some absolute dimes in there. Handful of beautiful sideline throws to Wilson and Moore; hell, every throw to Wilson. First time in a decade we've been able to run the slant. Really loved that 3rd and one bootleg to Moore as well,  great play. 

 

Again, the team is more talented than we thought at the beginning of the year, but we aren't perfect. We cannot stall drives with silly penalties, drop balls and lose the turnover battle. I don't think it's even close. The team is better with Mike white; we can finally run the offense through the QB, whereas before we were running in through Breece Hall. Hopefully they can put it all together the next few games and make a little run.

Mike White took 2 horrible sacks (Wilson-esque) and had a few floaters, but had some real great throws today.  I think the biggest things are the run game (threw it 44 times - even if we're behind we need a balance), and short yardage/3rd downs.

3rd & 10 checkdowns need to stop.  Whether it's White or LaFleur, we can't give up on drives like that.  We need to run under center more.  I feel like we either break for a 9 yard run or get stuffed 2 yards behind the LoS.

Berrios has been a disaster the last two weeks. Terrie punt coverage today, and that throw from white was perfect, and berrios let it hit him in the face. He catches that we are at the one, or he falls into the end zone for a touchdown.

Lol if you watch Moore, he jogs about 90% of his routes because he knows it’s not coming to him or because he’s being used to just clear things out. 
And honestly, if you’re gonna waste him like that then don’t play him. Moore should be way more involved then how he’s being used right now. Lefluer making things incredibly difficult on these guys.

I saw it the mostly the same way (and came to a different conclusion obviously).  

I also think the MLF play calling in the 1st half feels like it’s giving up in general. 

The pass protection wasn’t good enough and White did well with what he faced but he won’t have a long career If the Jets keep doing that to him.

He’s going to be banged up next week - they need to protect him.  It feels like they don’t have an answer to many blitzes - No hot route and allow themselves to get overloaded.   That’s a bad combo.
