I think Love is more of an unknown, I think he is similar to Wilson in that sense.  If we are moving away from White/Wilson, my guess would be for a proven vet like a Carr or Jimmy G, etc...

I'd be ok with Carr but I don't  think JG is an option. The guy is never healthy for long periods of time. We sign him, he plays 8 or 9 games, gets hurt and we are probably playing Strev the rest of the season

The only way I can see this happening is because the coaching staffs are family and close friends. If they both agree that Zach and Love just need changes of scenery, then it might be possible. Love is more of an unknown than Zach.

Another reason that I just thought of that might make this make sense is, if I recall correctly, Wilson has become friendly with Rodgers.

If White is going to be kept, and the Jets feel Zack Wilson needs to be traded, I would hope Joe would send him to Tennessee for Malik Willis. I'm sure no one agrees but would want a Malik Willis to develop behind Mike White. Or someone similar in this year's draft. I feel like there are similar physical skills there. Just feel Malik is more durable but behind Zack in his passing ability.

So much is going to be determined by how Mike White finishes this season.

I think we are most likely looking at a Mike White vs Zach Wilson training camp battle next season which Mike White will probably win. Maybe they take a flier on a QB in the 2nd-4th round as well and hope he can develop.

Mike white either wins the job outright this year or they are bringing in a vet imo.

The biggest question about white is can he hold up. Hopefully he can.

WHy would Tenn want to trade Malik Willis? He played decent in his only (?) start, no?

I actually think that Mike White is just a younger and cheaper Jimmy G.

Given where the Packers are now I think they trade one of their QB’s. Not sure it’s Love. If it is, I’d guess the price is higher than folks here would find palatable.

Will be a lot of teams besides the Jets with long-term QB uncertainty coming to a head this offseason. The Cheats could potentially be in the market, Texans, Colts, potentially the Titans, even potentially the Ravens depending on how they approach Lamar, Denver will need to do something, Vegas has decisions to make, Washington, the Giants, between 3/4 of and the entire NFC South pending what Brady does, Detroit, Minnesota will have decisions to make, Seattle needs to make decisions.

Could be like half the league making pretty significant moves as buyers. Four of those teams would need to be sellers in some fashion, most just don’t have a long-term answer and it’s kind of obvious right now. And there are a chunk of teams with recently acquired guys who are still up in the air. Have to think really only Buffalo, the Bengals, the Chargers, Kansas City, and I guess different situation but similar comfort level would be Dallas. Really very few established high end vets who aren’t at the absolute tail end of their careers. Eagles have to be very excited with a little caution, Bears excited with a lot of caution. And the Jaguars have to be feeling pretty solid, but not quite comfortable.

Green Bay will have someone it’s just a question of the older cantankerous former MVP or the younger question mark. Miami feels like a more explosive offense than the Rams with Goff, think Tua limits them even though the scheme is great and the talent is nice. And then teams like Pittsburgh and SF just need things to play out. Browns are committed to an icky situation I hope plays out poorly. Who knows what the Rams’ plan is. And Arizona is just a mess.

No to Carr.  He is just not a SB caliber QB.  He continually disappoints.  He is Cousins-lite.

What exactly has he done other than sit behind Rodgers. He looked OK in that game a couple weeks ago, but did not in the other action he saw.

Shouldn't we be concerned with why Greenbay would want to trade him? They drafted him in the 1st round, and Arod isn't getting any younger. Doesn't this atleast throw up a red flag? I guess they're getting close to deciding on the 5th year option, or letting him playout the 4th year.  You would think if they liked/believed in him, he wouldn't be on the block.

Someone who at this point is not a better option than Zach?  Who was not thought of as well as Zach?

He might, actually, be better than Zach.  At this point, they are both in the NFL; what people thought of them pre-draft doesn’t matter anymore.  If the price was right, I would be all over this and roll into camp with a competition between White, Wilson, and Love.
