How can anyone think Zach doesn’t have the YIPs?

Glad we just scored but think bigger picture here.  Did you see the 5-7 WTF passes today?

YIPS isn’t funny..  it might be our sad reality.

Throw to G Wilson was great though!!

let’s pull this out..

I don’t think ZW is good. Don’t have much hope for him.

He has throws today going for 33, 50, 40, and 33 yards. If you’re not at least somewhat conflicted about his ability to extend plays and get the ball downfield, you’re biased.

Thats good but he cant execute the basic throws.

His stats look pretty good today. But this kind of play isnt sustainable. Lot of those passes are the results of the lions just having a very bad defense.

Not gonna pretend he looked awful today or anything though.

He finally showed some flashes of why he was a 2nd overall which is super encouraging, but the constant missing of guys who are open - whether they’re on the move or standing still; downfield or near the LOS - is pretty alarming.

If Zach can ever figure out a way to work on his accuracy - not even to the point where he has to thread the needle, just hit players in stride or give them a chance to make a play on the ball - he could be a great QB.

It’s obvious this OL needs work, but when you have time and guys open you need to make that play. Still I’d put this loss more on our clock management and whatever that pitiful display was on our last defensive play. No idea how this D can be so good and then get torched so badly on a 5 yard dump to a TE. The more the weeks go by, the more I want to move on from Mosley next year. Draft a kid in the 1st or bring in Lavonte David. I don’t care.

I've been saying all season long this season will come down to Zach Wilson.  He is not a skilled enough QB to be anywhere near the playoffs.  Hence he is keeping this playoff caliber team out of the playoffs.

He had some issues today for sure, but Robert Saleh and Mike Lafleur are keeping this team from the playoffs.

My take on Zach is he's good at what you don't want your QB doing. Bush league crap, throwing off balance and across his body. Desperation deep passes. You just need a QB that can drop back and deliver a catchable ball on time. He missed 10 passes today wide open because its always got too much mustard on them. You can see it on all the wrs faces.

This is who Zach is. He can make some exceptional throws on the run, that most Quarterbacks cannot, which is why he was so highly rated. The hope was that he could also learn to do the things that most good quarterbacks can do, which he cannot. It’s been 22 games. As we’ve seen the last fifteen years, this is unlikely to correct itself.

Playoff caliber teams don't sh*t the bed on D in the 4th qtr and roll over like they did today on the winning drive.  THAT was also pathetic

We all know he has the yips. The plan was to have him sit until it was fixed but mike white is an egg and Flacco blows. He has enough athletic ability to make plays and move the offense despite his horrible accuracy

Any “yips” afflicted golfer ever win the Masters?
