last year was the outlier. he can not hold on to the ball and he's too small of a target. Cost us games this year.

Mann is a total bust. A below-average punter is a guy you never notice. He never makes a play, but really doesn't hurt the team all that much either. Mann has 1-2 crippling plays every week. Cut.

Wilson as a player is cut-worthy. Wilson's circumstance (contract, age) is why he won't be. Unfortunately, best realistic case scenario is he's the scout team QB only in 2023.

I’m not the greatest at the contract stuff, but Is Mosley even cutable? Spotrac is showing a 14 dead cap hit. If there is a way out of it then he should 100% go

I have no problem with moving on from Mann if there’s a better (or even equal) FA option out there. He’s a punter after all. 
But cutting Zach and Berrios right now makes zero sense and is a terrible take.

He's 100% cuttable, and costs more to keep. The choice is to pay his $17MM salary or not pay it. That "dead" hit is a sunk cost because of money already paid (they needed more cap room this year so they pushed his '22 hit off to the future); it's not new money. Whatever accelerated dead cap there is can be offset by backloading someone else instead(works out the same whether it's Mosley's hit that's backloaded or someone else's hit that's backloaded).

He's a garbage starter and has been one of this team's silent killers because the D is otherwise so solid, or because he's so badly out of position, it hides the full extent of just how crappy he is.

All the tackles he makes where he gets carried an extra 2-5 yards because he's ****ing weak after the weight loss; the slow reaction time; the poor instincts where the play goes one way and he gets fooled like a rookie because he's either slow to react or has just overcommitted himself one way (or both).

The only reason anyone thinks he's any good is because of a combination of (1) announcers keep saying so when he does make his ~1 decent play per game, plus (2) lots of tackles stat; never mind this is quite normal for a 43 MLB who never comes off the field. Even more so when OCs target him & his zone.

It'd be a travesty to not just keep him on this defense that could/should be top 3 next year - should've been this year, too - but instead pay so heavily for him that it costs the team another top starter on top of carrying his ass. 

He is quite arguably the single most overrated player in the NFL.

He can get any popularity contest vote he likes. That doesn't make him any better.

The gamewinning TD on him was a perfect example of this. Even with all the other things that went wrong with this game, if CJM doesn't overcommit the wrong ****ing way, to run to an area where there was nobody to cover, and in doing so leaves a TE open by 10 ****ing yards after crossing right in front of his stupid ****ing face on the NFL emblem, then they win the game.

This, right on the heels of spotting the ****ing Bills an extra possession in Jets territory which changed a tie - and with 2 TOs, a possible go-ahead before halftime (plus possession to start the 2nd half) into a 7-0 hole that required a TD just to tie it up again. Taking so much time at the line, the whole ****ing stadium knew all they were doing there was running down clock plus a slim chance at drawing the Jets offside, and this idiot jumps over the line and laughs about it afterwards.

He's the worst starter on the defense.

If the money is already spent then he can see the door. It seems like he’s constantly too slow to make tackles or play coverage. He makes stupid mistakes too frequently for being such a well regarded player.
