Jets need an established QB

No more draft picks learning on the job.....Can't take it.  Douglas needs to swing a deal for a legit QB....Rodgers, Carr, sign Lamar Jackson or Jimmy G

Rogers is washed and more interested in schrooms at this point. Carr is an underachieving compiler. Jackson had only one good year and very expensive. Jimmy G is like an egg back there.

Get MW back on a hometown short term deal and let Zach play through his rookie deal as the two.  Work on Strev- a little in the offseason to be active and have a few packages for him.

Then stay healthy- reload and hope for the best.

Yes, we all agree none are perfect but it would be an extreme dereliction of his responsibility if JD didn’t explore imperfect upgrades at the position.

MW is no Ironman and you want to burn another year of our young core’s rookie deals on the high probability BYU starts significant games next year?

Many of us slayed JD for not having a stronger QB room behind BYU last year and this but I will tell ya JD has shown he can learn from past mistakes. I can’t see how he doesn’t make a move for a credible vet who has the chops to at least press in camp to start.

Lamar would be a bad fit unless we're bringing Greg Roman on board too. Jimmy G has managed to play 16 games once in his career. Is that who we want to hang our hats on?

There is  more wrong with this team than just the QBing as much as we all like to think that.

Gave up two punt return tds in key games

Running game flops in biggest game of the year

Defense produces no turnovers.

The 'savvy vet leader' Mosley has made two mind numbingly awful plays highly contributing to the last two loses.

Dreadful coach clock management.

how about that 2nd play of game backed up at own 1 yard line 2nd down and he calls a long sideline pass?  how about just get a couple yards so your punter has some room to work with?

Let me ask you something, why do you call him BYU?

Rodgers as a “ has been “ still is MUCH better than Wilson a “ never will be.”

HUGE upgrade on both Wilson (who doesn't have the brain for the position) and Mike White (who is a statue made of papier mache)

How someone can be that young, that thin and that immobile is beyond me. It's like Ken O'Brien who was a lardass.

People keep saying why Minshew...

Well, your post should be BRONZED cause it is the correct answer!

If Zach had to sit for three years behind Minshew so be it, it would have been better than this!

There just aren’t many even franchise Qbs this season having consistently good seasons. Not only injuries but drop offs in performance bad plays etc. There's a few this year like Jalen Hurts but before 2022 he wasn’t considered elite or someone who might even be long term. Right now I could see the Jets going with White and Zach playing both of them maybe sometimes in the same game. If Zach had a better running game today we would have won.
