If it comes to the point where he need to be replaced who would you like to see as OC? A lot to consider with the set of QBs on our team currently and the high chance of a new one this coming this offseason

my picks for replacement : Brian Johnson - qb coach from Philly. Coaching Hurts to an NFL MVP season and helping him turn his career around…. Happens to have a Utah background can connect with Zach in a way

and Matt Nagy off the chiefs

Can we have some stability for a change?

I get the advantages of being up in the booth, but I wonder if because of Zach’s particular situation if it might be better for LaFluer to be on the sidelines. They obviously can use the sidelines phone to talk but there really isn’t a comparison to looking someone in the eye and getting to the heart of the matter like what Zach is seeing, what he thinks he can run etc.

LaFleur has been one of the best OCs for the Jets over the last 25 years…

There is at least 1 WR open on most plays.   Running game is efficient most of the time.

What else do you want?!?!

Somehow the narrative has become that Zach sucking is his fault. People have a hard time accepting that a player drafted early sometimes isn't what everyone expected him to be.

I don't blame the coach. The player just stinks.

A QB that can see and hit the open receivers???

I’m clearly in the minority, but I haven’t given up on ZW.

One intangible that a QB needs is resilience. I see that in Wilson.  Despite all of the missed throws, immense pressure of NY/NJ, and vitriol he is getting from media and fans, he hasn’t quit on himself…  I respect that.

When I have had the yips/shanks on a golf course, I don’t want to play at all and usually call it a day.  And that is without anybody else watching and mocking me…

There is no way you can give zero accountability when a coach doesn't know how to develop a player talented enough to be the second pick and at the very least understand the type of plays he should be running for a certain skill set. MLF called the worst possible plays in the 3rd quarter for Zach and he stunk that quarter. You guys really think that's a coincidence? MLF has no experience. We never should have hired a coach and OC with zero experience. If the head coach is new and a defensive mind, you HAVE to get an experienced OC.

Just listening to Adam Schein, rarely do. He RIPPED Zach as not an NFL QB and praised Joe Douglas with the exception that pick and that moving forward he sees NO WAY that Zach can play as a starter for the Jets.

I think ZW sucks, but Adam Schein is an ass.

I tend to agree with this.  I'm a duffer, but staying with your golf analogy, there are some courses I play better than others, and some shots I can hit better than others.  Why would it be any different for a QB?  It's like LaFleur keeps asking Zach to hit the driver and wedge when maybe his two best clubs are the 2-iron and 7-iron...
