Let's not develop the guy with the most sheer talent at the QB position on the team - let's just get rid of him even though noone on our team has ever developed a QB before. We develop Zach properly we win a Super Bowl. We don't develop Zach properly we don't. MW doesn't have the ceiling to compete with Mahomes and Allen. Zach does if he is developed properly. If he adds the easy/intermediate stuff to his game and his progressions improve to go along with elite throwing ability, we have a Super Bowl team.

Your comment about competiting with other QB is just oure spectulation.  He is more accurate and can make all the throws,,,, needs to bulk up and learn how to avoid big hits and he will be a good NFL QB that can win in this league.

A number of his completions sunday were wildly inaccurate throws that the WR just made a great play on....

He's gone from WTF to roadkill in the matter of weeks

Yea, which is to be expected on some throws, MW had a lot of his throws that were imperfect, but still within a reasonable catch radius… but, when you put on tape so many horrid misses, it makes it more alarming that your “good plays” are also wild throws.

What’s best for the Jets in my opinion is for Zach to be off the roster. Harsh but it’s the truth.

this is flat out based on emotion and your clearly stated hatred for ZW. What would be best for the Jets, without question, would be Zach Wilson OR Mike White becoming a legitimate franchise QB.

Not just a Zach guy I'm a Jets guy that actually understands that players with more talent have higher ceilings. Kind of football 101 - but OK.

Ceiling doesn't matter much if your floor is in the grave.

And his ceiling really isn't that high.  It's maybe a little bit higher than Sam Darnold's.  And we know how that worked out.

Flashes, baby!  That's all that 30 % of this fanbase seems to care about when it comes to young QBs.

JTO is a prophet and a few of you in here owe him an apology.

Daniel Kelly also. Was attacked viciously for his prescient scouting report on BYU. He also called Garrett Wilson (said he is best WR in the draft), Sauce (said he will be the NFL’s top cover corner within 2 years) and Breece (compared him to Adrian Peterson) grand slam picks and questioned JJ’s return as a first round pick. But the narrative is that Kelly is an embittered Jets-hating troll who poops on everything the Jets do. Why? Because he thought BYU was a QB with exaggerated physical gifts that was manufacturred by a weak college schedule with a bad attitude and that he will be an INT-machine in the NFL.

Who are JTO and Daniel Kelly?  They're on JN?  Or they have YouTube channels or something like that?

I can't get upset at JD swinging for the fences with ZW.   Was worth a roll of the dice, imo.  Obviously not working out so far and this might be the end of him here.

Yes you can.

They picked no 2 overall. very rarely does that happen. You cannot afford to piss it away like that

Mahomes is approaching All-Time great status. Allen is on Hall of Fame trajectory, or at least perennial Probowler.

Zach was a shaky prospect to begin with, there were numerous red flags. He doesn’t have any special skills, talents or tools, and there’s a much better chance that he’s out of the league in a few years than reaching the status of Mahomes and Allen.

I feel like I’m telling a kid that Santa Claus doesn’t exist.

ZW's special skill is his arm strength.  Plus, there was the talk about his "off schedule plays".

Colin Cowherd was calling Wilson Manziel without the coke problem 2 years ago. Jets fans acted like he was a hater

Actually Darnold who was going to be put out to pasture by Carolina esp after a brutal performance last season in a game and injuries this season has kind of made a comeback beat out Mayfield who was released and is currently their starter. So how many guys are we going to draft high and then cut them when they suck and in a few years with another team maybe get good.

Darnold can't stay healthy and has only completed 59.1 % of his throws and for 169 yards per game this year.

If that's productivity we should be "missing" 2 years after dumping the guy for a 2nd rounder, then I don't want to be on this planet with you all any longer.

Look Zach had 300 plus against Detroit but we still lost. The yardage totals are overrated. But I agree on Darnold he’s not proven yet to be a reliable starter.
