I think Kevin actually waited in the pouring rain for hours, drunk, to yell at JD. And he probably yelled at him, but JD likely completely and appropriately ignored him.  If it happened, it happened like this. JD is Mike Curtis and Kevin the fan:

JD is a mild mannered guy, not a hot head. Then you have to remember  GM is a multi million dollar executive position in the entertainment industry. So what you're telling me is the GM of the Jets decided to threaten a fan in public after another tough loss. In reality, these are the guys that are preaching to the players not to argue with the fans. Based off what Kevin claims he said JD commited assault, as you are not allowed to threaten bodily harm to another person. But the fiery HC of the Jets Saleh actually calmed everyone down... If it happened at the stadium it probably would have been leaked.

If a GM is getting chirped hard they always ignore it, or if they say anything they may call Kevin an idiot, tell him to shut up, not threaten to break him

Yeah like kevin was yelling and either Douglas had no response or maybe said something dismissively. If Douglas had come unglued at MetLife surrounded by a crowd, somebody would have filmed it or filmed the aftermath and it would have gone viral. That would be too salacious for sports media to ignore.

I don't understand how in this day and age of EVERYONE having phones that can record video, that not a single Jets fan who was there would have videoed the GM and HC of the Jets walking together, much less having an interaction with fans. I mean, most Jets fans would video JD or Saleh buying a bag of chips at QuickChek. But nobody recorded them walking together after a game? And nobody who wasn't recording decided to get out a phone when it appeared tensions were rising between a fan and the GM? Nor did any security footage in and around MetLife have any of this? 

If this happened...IF a top level football executive from an NFL team decided, for whatever reason, that he would risk his millions of dollars in remaining contract and his dream job to confront a fan who said something mean to him, there is zero evidence of it? No video, no audio of the most taped and scrutinized people in the most scrutinized professional sports league in the most scrutinized market in the country? Nor were there corroborating witnesses who would have gladly sold their accounts to Deadspin or TMZ? Those witnesses just decided they would rather not be paid for their story? No money was better for them than money?
