Brick.  Woody named his kid Brick.  How did I not learn this until today?  Credit to @DireJet for posting this article in another thread.

Like father, like son.

Jets owner Woody Johnson’s 14-year-old son, Brick, was at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, NJ, last week during the kickoff of the NFL Draft — and got to speak with Zach Wilson when the team picked him at No. 2.

A source tells us that the young scion “really wants to get more involved” in his dad’s business. “He wants to learn the ropes of the team and get more involved as he gets older,” says the source.

“Welcome to NY @Zachkapono1! The journey starts now,” Brick posted on Instagram with a pic of himself on the phone.

In a video of the call posted on the Jets’ site, Johnson — who has owned the team since 2000 — jokes to Wilson, “I probably know more about you than I know about my own kids,” as Brick laughs in the background.

Yeah, he’s just a kid. Not gonna get on him. We’ll have plenty of time for that when he’s the owner in 20 years  ?

I posted that article more to show that I think the ZW pick was Woody influenced. No doubt in my mind. Which makes me really question what we’re doing here with JD.

So instead of his imbecil brother we’ll have to deal with this nit wit????  This team is DOOMED. As @joewiliy12 pointed out.

Suzanne is not stupid.  I don't think they fall for this.  At some point the team gets sold.  Woody is not getting any younger.

This will be a repeat of Leon Hess selling the team so his family does not have to deal with it.  That will require dressing it up...which is when he will break the bank for Sean Payton.

Have you seen pictures of Leon Hess' grandson Mikey having fun with Meghan, Harry and Ivanka?  He rolls with that crowd on yachts.  He is not dealing with the Jet games.
