I Still Believe Jets can make the playoffs

Mike White starts the next 2 games for us and we win out. Beat the Seahawks 13-10 and pull out a tough one against Miami 19-17. We'd end up sweeping Miami, and I'm sure somewhere down the line another team loses that we need to. Can we still sneak in the playoffs??

I could see the Jets winning their final 2 games if MW is healthy.  Doubt the Chargers lose to the Colts but we'll see.

Don't need chargers to lose to colts as long as Patriots lose to Bengals and Bills, which is likely. It will come down to the packers game.

But lets not forget Colts will be up to playing spoiler for the Chargers.  Its all they have left.

As Robert Saleh says the playoffs are far fetched.

If I understand correctly:

The Jets must go 2-0

The Dolphins (and Patriots) must lose 2 of their last 3. It’s complicated by the Dolphins playing the Patriots next week.  That said root for the Packers to defeat the Dolphins. If that doesn’t happen than we would need the Patriots to lose to the Bengals and Bills but beat the Dolphins next week.

Also need the Raiders to lose 1 of their last 3.

This can easily happen if we don't start Crack Wilson.

Yes, Jets win the next two games and they have a 45-50% of getting in. Add in a couple of key losses to Pats and some other AFC contenders and that percentage goes up. HOWEVER, to win the next two games we probably need to score above 24 points per game. We don't have the QBs to do that unless Mike "F" White is completely healthy and fix everything else (run game, Oline, turnovers, play calling, etc. ).

i love the Eve for the 7 fishes. but this year im only doing 3 cause alot of the young people dont eat the fish. still spent 150 bucks on shrimp, flounder and galama. forgot my sister is picking up the lobster tails so thats 4 fishes.

now i have to go to Pastosa to get the manigots for tomorrow.

Merry Christmas pal

Guys,

Miami loses to Green Bay. Chargers lose to the colts. Mike White comes back in a Festivus Miracle.

Believe!

Thanks for the inspirational post, Mr. Saleh (your join date is January 2021) I really hope the team doesn’t quit on you.

Merry Christmas,

BP

The most far fetched part of all that is the jets suddenly winning games again.

I actually Do think the pats will probably lose 2 of their last 3, the raiders will probably lose one more game, and the Dolphins could easily lose in NE next week. But I DON’T see us winning 2 road games, sadly.

this team feels dead

? I just picked up 8 dozen stuffed shells!
we cut back on a few things this year also. We’re having baked clams, Mussels marinara, clams and macaroni, and a linguini with crab sauce(my favorite) followed by crabs in that sauce. Some fried shrimp and flounde, along with a baccala/fish salad.

The young ones love it, but they’re not exactly a big help on either day. my two sisters are kinda overwhelmed with two big days in a row.

I’m just grateful they’re carrying on the tradition.

I appreciate seeing the scenarios that could put the Jets in the playoffs.
Shows a glass half full optimism that is admirable.

After such a dreadful performance on Thursday night (especially by our QB)..I’ve pretty much given up on the season.
Will enjoy a couple of the games today while preparing for Christmas.  Not a day to be outside ..engaging with the below zero wind chill.

Its ok to believe. I'm def. still watching the rest of the games and I think there will be no quit in this team.

But too much needs to happen now. The Jets need to win out, Miami needs to lose, the Chargers need to lose, the Pats need to lose and the Jags need to lose. Not all of these teams need to lose out and some have tougher schedules than others (and of course we play Miami wk 18). But we need A LOT of help. And odds are we will be eliminated before we face Miami.
