2022/23 Metro Area Hockey teams - Blueshirts, Islanders and Devils

I thought it might make sense with all three teams looking like playoff contenders to have a thread where we could have a little gentle ribbing of the other teams and their fans.

Maybe this dies on the vine but.

Season so far,

Metropolitan looks like an unbelievably strong division.... Again

Devils looked like all-planet until quite recently and now the question is when the free fall will end?

Rangers and Islanders both with slow-ish starts but both of them have been rounding into form lately.

Carolina and Pittsburgh are going to be strong within the division all year long.

Yeah I had that same Steve Sommers thought but no reason to piss off Islander fans right out of the gate

NHL needs more division games, less out of conference. I think Rangers are done playing Islanders for this regular season already. Sucks

Islanders seem to be more structured for trench warfare playoff hockey than either the Rangers or certainly the Devils.  Devils may be the most talented of the three top to bottom but they need a year or two of playoff seasoning IMO.  This year will be their first assuming they pull out of this current nose dive.
