If we happen to make it, when all signs point to we won’t…Reminds me a lot of 2009. That team really had no right being in the playoffs either.

I said that on like Friday and got a zillion downvotes. I have been saying for a long time that the schedule was REALLY favorable for us. Of course we can't win a game though.

Things could be worse. We could be Broncos fans.  The Broncos are screwed for a very long time with Wilson's contract.

The only thing worse than not having a QB is to be tied to the wrong one (like Denver).  But it's possible we'll be in this situation next year when JD makes what will likely be a desperation move.

I do not think he will make a desperation move...Breece Sauce Garrett JJ gives him job security for a while...plus MLF is easily throw under the bus-able.

Holy hell is Denver bad. Is Hackett first to go on Black Monday

Terry Bradway wanted to draft Russell Wilson but Jets org didn’t listen to him and it was a big mistake. But he’s having a bad year at Denver and they’re stuck with his deal over 120 fully guaranteed. So Denver is stuck with him no chance we could trade one Wilson for another. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/denver-broncos/russell-wilson-9885/#:~:text=Russell Wilson signed a 5,average annual salary of %2448%2C517%2C647.

Let's make it clear, the way the Jets have played they 100% do not deserve to be in the playoffs but when things all go your way you can't look a gift horse in the mouth.  At least we have life.

Let’s be perfectly clear, it’s a 17 game schedule.  It’s not a 4 or 5 game stretch.  When the entire season is over the teams with the best records deserve to get into the playoffs.  We don’t deserve to get in because we’ve lost 4 in a row and don’t deserve to get in because the fish and Pats have also lost 4 in a row?

Why?

We lost twice to a crapola pats team we have lost 4 games down the stretch when the playoffs are there for us.  The QB has been lousy, defense and special teams have faded badly.  We have had to have EVERYTHING go our way this week to just have a shot at it.   The best we can do on the year is 9-8, so no we do not deserve to be in the playoffs on record and level of play when it counts.

Just like the winner of the awful awful NFC south does not deserve to be in the playoffs.
