It’s going to depend on a lot.  I don’t truly think he will be traded, but there is a good chance if they are able to get a good offer and pick up an established, veteran, QB1 that they decide to cut bait.  If they had had another top 5 pick, ala 2020, Wilson would be a goner.

Get Frank Reich in here and get to work.

He’ll be a head coaching candidate and at the least OC for a team of his choosing.

We’d have to fire LaFleur and I can’t see that happening …. Unlesss these last 2 weeks we truly bomb.

It really depends on what they feel Zach's potential is. If they truly believe he has the goods to be an elite QB, this will not be a tough decision.

This means that Zach is as good as gone.  Just ask Jamaal Adams and Sam Darnold.

Thank you JD!

Don't forget to ask Denzel Mims and Elijah Moore.

I don't think it means anything really. JD seems like an excellent negotiator. He's not going to start from a position of weakness. This is his default answer for any player.

I have a hard time imagining anyone offering anything of value for Wilson.

No reason to trade him unless he becomes a distraction and/or stops working hard.

Let him put in the work through his rookie contract and see if he can realize his potential.

In the interim….aggressively look to upgrade the position without Zack Wilson’s feelings or expectancy thy]at he will figure it out.

He’s entered the Ex-wife zone.
I don’t even want to look at him anymore. Get him the f**k outta here!

I think it would be a smart move to keep him esp if true that he’s handled his demotion well and a good teammate. He’s not really due that much money for a Qb over the next two years other teams might be willing to trade for him. But this all could be spin to boost his value.

I imagine Joe Douglas just trying to protect Wilson's value by saying he doesn't intend to "shop" Zach Wilson, to try and drum up a better offer from another team this off-season. Even if for some reason Joe Douglas was being insanely stubborn and decided to keep Zach Wilson, does anyone think Zach Wilson (and his family) want to stay here? No way.

As soon as a player is actively being shopped, their value starts to decline. He’s not going to put himself in that position. Any uncertainty benefits the Jets. Let teams make the call to him and make an offer. That’s a much stronger negotiating stance.
