Entire Coaching staff has to go

Recommended Posts

I think MLF needs to go because his play calling is way too inconsistent. However, we lost arguably the best rookie rb (possibly one of the best in the league already), our best offensive lineman and several other starters, Mike White got hurt at the wrong time.

A lot of things did not go our way and are difficult to overcome. However, there has to be some accountability. So it will be interesting to see what happens. But this kumbaya stuff will only last so long.

I just don’t even know how this franchise can be fixed, every move made inevitably ends up being the wrong one

The ONLY way things will ever change is if Woody Johnson says to himself, and his family, and to this fanbase that he has failed us, 22 seasons of mostly futile and disgraceful football. It's time to sell this team and give someone else a chance to make it work.

It’s hard for me to even blame woody on this one, at the time the Douglas and Saleh hires were universally praised by everyone. For whatever reason It just never works out, whether it be injuries or luck it’s insane. To be this bad for this long statistically defies the odds in a league built for parity.

Saleh and LaFleur are in "on the job training". I feel like Saleh has been mostly improving, while LaFleur has been inconsistant. IMO, if someone has to go it should be LeFleur. I would not get rid of Saleh. Who would you replace him with? Even if we got Payton, that would cost us some high draft picks, which could be better used to improve the roster.

Be careful what you wish for.

One last thought... We need a competent QB coach to replace Greg Knapp.

Unless we bring in Sean Peyton,  I would keep Saleh for one more season. This collapse  was an abject  failure on him but our OL was a total patchwork. Other than Fant who sucked all season and McGovern, there wasn't  one guy who was on the team last season. I also want to see how he handles Hall. I doubt  Hall is ready at the start of the season unless it was a mild tear, more likely he plays game 5. I just think this was about thebworst rash of injuries on O I ever saw on a team.
