People who like him are doing so *solely* because of the draft position and they’re letting that cloud their opinion of who he is as a player. Because he was a high draft pick, it allows you the element of imagination that, eventually, he will end up playing like a high draft pick, and even as you collect more and more data on that player indicating, quite clearly, that he stinks, you just shift to drawing more and more of your analysis on that player from the imagination zone.
