Sad but true - Zach best QB on team. Unreal.

MW good when there’s no tape on him. Teams have a little tape and the dude is useless.  Props for back from injury.  So did Zach.  CS should have stayed the course and developed our QB.  Take the bullets.  Now - no where to go.  Institutional failure. JD now in crosshairs.  Can’t fail on coach, QB and plan.

Zach Wilson is like if Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell had a baby and were both drunk every day while he was in the womb.

Give it a rest.

Worse statistical qb and worse by eye test. No question Zachenberg needs to go.

get Rogers or Lamar or Carr at worst.

You can say he has the most talent but as far as being the best QB on the team I totally disagree

Do you ever get tired of making personal attacks?  I’ve got you on ignore dude.  Only saw your post because someone else quoted it.  And every time I see your posts it’s you making a personal attack on someone.  That should tell you something.

Find another leg to hump.  Or just stop doing that to people in general. Just a thought.

5 years from now there is a chance Zach Wilson has a geno Smith type breakthrough.

Not saying we should wait it out but there is far more reason to keep Wilson than white next year.

Can’t we just circle back to Zach Wilson in five years and save a lot of money?

We are at the point in the Zach Wilson discourse where he’s essentially become Jamal Adams. People who like him are doing so *solely* because of the draft position and they’re letting that cloud their opinion of who he is as a player. Because he was a high draft pick, it allows you the element of imagination that, eventually, he will end up playing like a high draft pick, and even as you collect more and more data on that player indicating, quite clearly, that he stinks, you just shift to drawing more and more of your analysis on that player from the imagination zone. Except, in this case, Adams was a better player. Both reviled in the locker room, though, but that’s like cherry on top kinda stuff

The problem with hanging onto these guys is your roster will be full of all these eggs few if any of which will ever hatch. There’s a massive opportunity cost to it.

My favorite part is that Zach fans maintain these two ideas in their head simultaneously:

Zach Wilson has rare gifts and the Jets would be crazy to move on from him.

And

You can’t trade Zach Wilson because nobody’s giving up much for him

We either have joe Flacco types as a backup or Zach Wilson.

Teams around the nfl have trash as backup QBs. Colt Mccoy, nick foles  etc... at least Zach has upside....

Problem is he would be a very, very expensive QB2 or 3 (8.5M APY). By comparison Colt McCoy makes 3.5M APY.

Let’s see which amazing coaches 1. Try to trade for Zach or 2. Come here as an OC under the condition that you have to develop Zach Wilson

Watching geno and darnold play way better elsewhere than on the jets may actually give someone the crazy notion that the jets simply can’t develop the qbs they draft.  Heck, even I’m beginning to think this.

Woody bargain hunts on coaching and — until recently — on GM. Although with JD he showed he may be having his Leon Hess moment…
