Turns out, we did just beat a bunch of backup QBs

Recommended Posts

The first 11 games of the season we played like an actual 7-4 team, the last 5 games though we’ve played like an 0-5 team.

Nothing to do with the QBs or teams we’ve played imo. I credit our collapse to awful QB management from our GM/CS, an overall thin/inexperienced coaching staff, injuries to key players that we were able to survive for only so long, a revolving bludgeoned OL, dependency on young players to provide a spark and not having reliable vets when needed.

sure there’s more.. and yes there’s is plenty to be discouraged about right now.. this season sucked and feels perfectly SOJ.

There’s also some bright spots. If you aren’t picking out the right bridge to jump off rn, and you’re able to breathe and take a step back, it’s not too crazy to say Saleh seems like a solid head coach for the future and JD is a very promising GM as he just landed us extremely high end talent in this past draft.

Here’s to hoping we continue to build on the good and learn from the bad. Happy New Years.
