Matt39
Shouldn’t a playoff mandate be baked into expectations every season? I mean the expectations this year should have been to make the playoffs. But I guess a mandate from Woody would at least give clear expectations.

bla bla bla
I like this schedule more than I liked this year's schedule. This year's schedule was also far easier than we anticipated so who knows haha

Saul Goodman
Has Joe Douglas ever even spoken the word “playoffs”? Time to twist the screws on him, and everyone else employed by the Jets. Find a way, or you’ll be replaced.

pointman
Teams have proven it. It doesn't take a decade to build a winner. With the right staff, and a few good building blocks you can be successful right off the bat. This staff has shriveled and had an amazing collapse. Pack yo sh1t, Ashtyn's mom is coming to pick you up at Sunday January 8th at 5:00PM. Don't bother showering.
Popular Post Untouchable
There will absolutely be a playoff mandate and that’s exactly why Douglas and Saleh would be dipsh*ts to rely on some scrub vet or another rookie at QB. If these mooks are going to stake their careers on someone like White, Minshew or Dalton to get this team over the hump while trying to rehabilitate Zach Wilson then they’ve already sealed their fates and deserve to be fired into the sun. 4
Grandy
I do not feel good about the future of this team. I hate that I feel this way, but I just feel impending doom. 1

Larz
It’s not who you play it’s when you play them. Playing the jets with AVT and hall or after as an example also yes I agree year 1 was the investment year, year 2 the growth year, year 3 has to be playoffs.
GreenFish
Im expecting a playoff mandate as well. Hopefully he communicates this early to Saleh and JD. Their jobs are on the line. Mandate and expectation are different. If Woody gives them a playoff mandate and they don't make it, they're toast.

Yup. JD will be GMing for his career this offseason. I fully expect him to get the surest thing he can get at QB.
August
At Dallas will probably be a loss. Giants is a toss up. Washington is winnable, Eagles is probably another loss. Falcons and Texans is winnable, Browns is a toss up.

Barry McCockinner
This team isn't far from being a playoff team, despite the collapse. Green Bay now vs. Green Bay when we played them. Detroit first half of season vs. second. Same with Piitsburgh. Both flipped a 2-6 type start to 6-2 type stretch run. Maybe if we had opened 0-5 and then done the 7-4 thing, people would be much happier here.
varjet
4 full years is a reasonable period of time to ask JD to make the playoffs. I do believe he will get that Mandate. I think based on the previous three years it is unachievable. I wish I was the fly on that wall.
