Someone should tell our coach that it is impossible to "finish the season strong" - we blew that chance weeks ago. The team is playing to avoid 6 straight losses.

So instead of playing young guys to help see where they're at in their development, Saleh will play vets, many of whom will no longer be here, just so he can avoid ending the season on a losing streak

I mean, I get not wanting to end the year on a 7 game losing streak, but would it kill you to start Ruckert?  Is that really going to be the reason we lose this game?  Any other young player worth a damn will already be playing, so we're essentially just talking about Ruckert.  The only other kid I'd want to see will be Adams who I'm guessing will be playing anyway due to the injury to Joyner.....so yeah, we're basically just talking about Ruckert here.

I don't care what anybody says.

Teams take on the personality of their head coach.

Saleh has created an atmosphere more akin to a Golden Gate Park drum circle than an NFL team with a championship mindset.

Even before they were eliminated, Saleh was talking in a defeatist tone as if they had already been eliminated.  "It's not about the playoffs".

It doesn't really matter who plays this week so long as nobody gets hurt. 

MW can possibly help himself marginally if he balls out.  But other than that, we're not going to learn anything Sunday we didn't already know.

so half this board wants Saleh, JD and MLF fired or at least one of the 3 and your surprised there trying to win the last game? yes 8 wins look better than 7. yes not losing 6 straight looks better than losing 6 straight. 

and before you say fire them now, there is not one coach on this team who would take over as intern would not try to win this last game for his resume. doesnt matter what Woody wants if Saleh got fired today there all getting fired on monday.

only thing for Woody to do is tell them now that there all back next year so do whats best for the team and lose sunday. him keeping quiet makes them think they have to win to save there jobs.

This.....after 21 people were down on Saleh, Jets at bye 6-3 Jet fan high on him, now hes at his lowest moment. 

In the end.....it all boils down to not having good QB play. Flacco, White, Wilson....none could get it done.

His cumbaya attitude sucks… his players didn’t even show up last week… his nobody can do no wrong except Zachypoo sucks…

I understand that, but It's easy to blame the guy for electing to do what's best to save his own rear end and his good buddy's as well rather than to do what's best for team development.  Saleh has more important responsibilities to this franchise, to the owner, to his boss and to the fans to do what's best for the team and not for himself.
