The Jetsy Jets being the Jetsy Jets.  I'll cut 'em some slack.  There's little they could do this week that would ever look positive in the eyes of the fans or the press.  They all can't wait until Sunday is over.

I think by now you probably have this post on auto file for the last week of the year. ?Time to focus on the JN draft and our annual zoom call.

Is this really worth whining over -- although it seems like anything the team does is worth whining over thsese days.  We have lost 5 straight.  Offense has not scored a TD in two games.  Defense has forced one turnover is 5 games.  Eliminated from playoffs for the 12th straight year.  All topics worth whining over.

But a jersey swap.  When the competitive part of the season is over.  Who cares?

I'm betting the Dolphins -7. The Jets are going to pay me for watching this Sunday.

Unless it is striclty piss away money - don't do it - you know they will have one dagger left for you and score a back end cover with about 15 seconds left.

Yes, it's piss away money when it's the sportsbooks money. Do you think this Jets team is going to stay within 7 points of the Dolphins? I don't think so. All they have to do is have quick plays to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle and let them YAC it up.

Oh I think they are getting smoked.

Of course I also thought they would show up against Seattle so that was several hundred I would have had more enjoyment with if I simply lit it on fire in the driveway.

If the Dolphins didn't have the playoffs on the line, I wouldn't touch the game, but with the playoffs on the line I see them really kicking the Jets butts. I know anything can happen, but I feel good about it.

I get what you're saying, but I personally think everything is fair game when the team has been utterly putrid and pathetic on the field the last 2-3 weeks. Mind you, not because they lack talent like in previous years, but because they gave minimal effort even with playoffs were on the line.

To add insult to injury, the buffoonish coaching staff can't get out of the headlines by just keeping their mouths shut about Zach Wilson, which coupled with the team gutlessly quitting on the field leaves a legitimate question whether the players have the right mentality or whether the coaches have any sort of discipline or control around the team or have them prepped to be professionals like they like to give lip service to.

For a coaching staff that likes talking big about flipping a culture, sure looks like they have one that shows a complete lack of accountability and aloofness towards results.

Am I actually upset at a Jersey swap?

No. I'm upset that they're all completely ok with failure and I'm tired of it.

Funny enough but with our ownership group this is the type of stuff that gets people fired. This is amateur hour stuff as our fanbase is going nuts.
