Embrace the Suck
8 minutes ago, T0mShane said: This “haha Mike LaFleur sucks!” stuff is going to be retroactively hysterical when Joe Douglas is on his hands and knees begging Jimmy Garoppolo to take $80 million guaranteed dollars out of Woody Johnson’s trust fund in a few weeks. If JD does that it will definitely be an issue for many who support him (me being one of them). The guy can't stay healthy, is old, and yeah. Having said that there is no more connection to the 49'ers offense which should blunt the Jimmy G talk which has been based on running MLF's offense. jgb
Big boy moment for Saleh. He had to choose whether to stick up for his friend or look out for himself. Hopefully this is a formative moment for him. It all hinges on the QB search this off season or next off season it’s yet another full reboot with a new regime who trades all the young core to launch a rebuild.
BigRy56
Side note is that this probably kills the Jimmy G pursuit, which I’m happy about. It’s Derek Carr or Lamar Jackson or bust

LaFleur was creating a massively fragmented clubhouse. But people here are ok with that. amirite @T0mShane? Totally ignored by most who argued to keep Saleh's buddy around. pointman
Wait. Hopefully rumors of Saleh being fired leads to other teams inquiring and Joe Douglas discussing it with him and mutually agreeing to part ways. *3 months later* LaFleur is the Raiders new passing game coordinator's assistant to the regional manager. Meanwhile, Robbie Saleh is now the latest 49'ers defensive run stop intern. Fuqoutta here. No one wants these guys.
Be_a_Jet
Stupidity once again. Getting rid of a talent. This helps Lafleur more than it helps us. He’ll have an OC job in two seconds and we’ll have slim pickings. Moronic 1 4

Popular Post nj meadowlands
Thoughts: The organization handled this like the top-down clown show that it is. LaFleur seems like an average to below average coordinator, and I won't miss him per se. That said, the Jets have been scapegoating offensive coordinators for 25 years, and boy that has worked out great, hasn't it? Anything that smacks of Woody meddling - which this does - sucks. He is essentially the dumbest Jets fan you'll find on twitter. Probably thinks Joe Douglas (whose track record is sh*tty, sorry folks) is the second coming, and that canning the OC will cure all. Who in the hell will want this toxic job, with its horrendous quarterback room, volatile owner, and GM/HC on thin ice? I'll tell you - another first timer and/or friend of Bob Saleh. This will go swimmingly. 2 1 4
