I have two PSL seats. Added two extra seats last year. Had fun, bringing people with us each week. Then I realized nobody paid me for a single game.  Just kidding \ not really lol.

So I emailed the Jets and went back to two seats. My younger son and daughter usually go to a game each per year. So for those two games I will just buy extra. Better than paying for the whole year.

Parlaying that money into an upgraded RV. Always have a plan. And thank you all in advance for reminding me that the Jets should never be part of the financial plan. LOL.

Them raising ticket pricing was really a slap in the nuts. Like c'mon they were good for 3 minutes and sent out the increase. Thanks, but no thanks. I will always keep my two seats but enough is enough with the price increases.

I hope you didn't pay a psl fee

After this season fiasco, it makes 2008 look like a raging success.  I am back to a bag over my head.  Love Sauce, Wilson, Breece etc but the management of this team is still well below professional.

We are still amongst the worst 4 teams in the league 5 years running.

That is fantastic. I wish I thought of it. Much better thread title.

I dropped a deuce on the Jets!

Do you still have season tickets?

Still have them, but my kids sports schedules got in the way of using them this past year. Caught most games on DVR later in the day.

Ugh. The corporate politician playbook. That sucks. I give you a lot of credit for being a mainstay of our home field advantage.

OBVIOUSLY, the bigger, badder RV is the better investment.

Also, if you ever need a ticket (or a parking pass) here and there, you can just call your rep and they'll add one for you / charge it.  Doesn't really make sense to have season tickets that you aren't 100% using.

drop the other two and you will feel liberated-I walked away from all of my paid psls after being a ticket holder for decades-if I want to go I just buy from stub hub and I am not paying for preseason and when the team sucks I am not calling everybody saying you want free tickets only to be told um no thanks

use the money you save and go on a nice trip with the family and buy yourself a nice new flat screen tv

FIVE YEARS???!!!??? Southpark since October 1st 2012 the day after the Jets had just gotten shutout by the SF 49ers the Jets went from a .500 team that had even split 12 playoff games including two trips to the AFC Championship game to a team that has been consistently playing at a .333 clip, which is lose 2 games to every 1 they win for 11 seasons straight! As the Old Professor Casey Stengel used to say; "You can look it up!"

Agree.  it took me years because in my head it was tough to walk away because my PSL's were all paid up.  But then after taking into account taking people for free, selling at a loss when I had to sell I just gave in.  Now I have extra disposable income that I can spend on much more enjoyable experiences then attending a Jets game.  That's just me though as attending the games became less and less fun as I got older.  In my early 30's I loved it.

We sit close by if I remember correctly. The JetNation legal team prohibits me from giving my exact location lol. Next year we should meet up.

I envy you.  I would drop my seats but of course that would mean I don't get tickets to all the home playoff games.  And since there are only 4 teams in each division and each division winner gets a home game and since we haven't had a home game in over 20 years you would think  we would have to be due #pukesarcasmhatethisteamweareajoke#.

The jets called me this evening to see if I was interested in renewing tickets I dropped.

I guess they thought that Woodys all in statement on a QB was a good marketing tool to sell tickets.

When the girl asked why I wasn't interested in the present time I said call back when they have a QB

I’m sure woody is devastated by your decision .

It was a dumb move by the Jets. But so typical that they would go on a swoon immediately afterwards.

I've been going with my son since he is 5. Went with my Dad for over 15 years before that.

Its a family thing at this point. We are blessed with being able to have the RV.

As long as health allows I will be there. We have a blast each week regardless of the game.

I'm going to sell PSLs for the new RV.

Used Miramar.

Another Thor Motorhome but a step up. Was going to get a newer version of what I have now. But got hooked on the upgraded version.

The most interesting part of this is that no one paid you. Interesting social dilemma. I guess they thought it was an invite?

Great question. Several we openly gave away.

Had a few people cancel last minute after locking the games in months before. The last minute replacements thought they were free I guess.

Several I did openly give away though.

the Jets have in their defense done a reasonable job keeping ticket prices steady over the last 6-8 years.  i guess a crappy product makes that a requirement.

with inflation and the very nice start to the season, they probably thought they had room to raise prices.   they weren't counting on an epic collapse.

my ticket section is about $50 overpriced but given my front row seats mine are okay.  plus how many more years is my son going to want to come and watch this team with me?

Who was the only guy to cancel on your tickets last minute because I got better tickets at the last second and I still paid you! That’s stand up sh*t right there!

Phillip, I believe people were taking advantage of your generosity.
