varjet
JD and Saleh had the right idea to duplicate the Shanahan system. The 49ers are not going to pay $40mm/yr to any QB, and they will find success with guys like Jimmy G and Purdy. I don't know what they are thinking with Lance. MLF was a failed experiment. He was undersupported, he was not up for the job, and he was given crap to work with. But if the Jets now go off and give up on this idea, I think it sets them back.

Anyone who thinks Purdy would be doing this on the Jets, send me a DM, I have a nice Statue on an Island I can sell you, cheap 1 1

prime21
There are 7.8 billion people on the planet earth. There are maybe 3 elite QB’s and 7-10 good qb’s. Finding a a good QB is like finding a needle in a haystack. Finding an elite one is like the James Webb telescope finding a planet with an alien waving at us. Good coaches find and develop good QB's, not the other way around. The evidence is in the NFL for years and years, but Jets fans want to ignore it. Like we have just had bad luck all these years. Let me let you in on a secret, there is no strategy in luck. Its like trying to hit the lottery.
