There was another interesting development Sunday. The Athletic reported the Panthers had interviewed former Broncos coach Vic Fangio for their defensive coordinator position, while confirming they also want to talk to Jets safeties coach Marquand Manuel for the spot. Manuel was on the Seahawks coaching staff when Fitterer and Morgan worked in Seattle’s front office.

Fangio was supposed to be part of Sean Paytons staff choices if he got a hc gig.  Now that it looks like he may stay in tv this year Fangio would be out there for others.
