I mean, the only guy I voted for with anything less than "if we have to settle..." is Caley, but even then I'm assuming there is something there with this guy that puts him on this list.  I think just looking at him as "TE coach????  WTF???" is a little lazy.  Still, he'd be my least favorite option among the group.  Agreed with pointman - if we're just going by previous jobs and the performance of players under their umbrella of responsibility, Joe Brady seems the most appealing.  Perhaps Patullo as well.

Only ones that remotely intrigue me are Joe Brady and Pep. With Brady I'm not sure if he's ready to return as an OC yet, and with Pep I'd like him more in a QB Coach/Passing Coordinator Role then primary playcaller/coordinator.

Underwhelming returns so far.....to be expected, no perfect candidate is available to come here, but I think the hiring is gonna end up being "Meh"

And for the love of God please stay away from Bevell!!!!!!!!! The Pats TE coach too!!!!!! WTF are we doing here?!

Bizarre reactions

too much love for Bevell and Marcus WHO?.... Not enough for PHI's passing game coordinator (should easily be #1 in this group), and same for NE's tight end coach... and too much credit being given to BUF's QB coach... that ship sailed with Daboll... if anything, Josh has regressed this a year a bit.

Short version: most of you are wrong *kisses*

My concern with Patullo and Caley is that they never were an OC before. I feel like an experienced play caller should be required.

Please tell me why this NE tight end coach is good?  I'm all ears as to why he is the best candidate as an oc.

I'm willing to bet most people here voting have no idea who any/most of these candidates are, and this poll and/or recent news is the first time in their lives they've ever heard their names, lol.

"Nick Caley, who?  Wasn't he in the Backstreet Boys?  sh*t, ok, "Great Choice" I guess, Marcus Brody, er, Brady, wasn't that the Sherriff in Jaws?  Ugh, pass, next?  Dear lord who ARE these people?  Kevin Patullo?  Isn't that guy who makes me my Italian sammich down at Lamonicas?  ffs...."

That was all daboll. And ken Dorsey was the qb coach under daboll who is now there  offensive coordinator.

Jordan Palmer worked with him that offseason   He did give credit to those guys but he did a lot with his mechanics

You're not wrong, I think we deserve/need a qualified resume to lead this group -- specifically someone who has experience demonstrating that they can weld a playbook that mirrors the strengths of the talent.

I don't see that guy on this list.

Cause NE has consistently got production at that position, and I like Tight Ends? lol

So let me reset the bar here, these are all underwhelming/poor choices. All of them, with maybe the exception of Patullo who could be a thing.... that said, i think we burnt out "give a new guy a chance" card already.

I would be doing everything to get someone like Frank Reich on here... I don't need flashy resume of playoff wins, just demonstrated competency and the right personality to let the talent on the roster do the rest.

You think a TE coach who got mediocre at best production out of his tight ends and was passed over for Matt Patricia to be OC this year is a good candidate?

I don't think Brady is getting any love for his work with Josh Allen.  People have wanted him since he was at LSU.  He was OC for the Panthers in 2020-2021.  Remember when the season started and people were posting about the huge mistake we made dumping Darnold and Robby Anderson?  They leveled off and I don't think anybody was too excited about Brady's playcalling, but he has done it.  Before he went to LSU (as "passing game coordinator") he was with Sean Payton and the Saints as an offensive assistant.

Why? (and I didn’t select him as favorable) I think because oc needs to do more than just draw up plays and call them.  Saleh knows nothing about the offense or how to coach them. This caley guy might have some good leadership qualities that will let him manage the assistant coaches.  Sounds like milfy wasn’t coordinating with his position coaches.

Bevell is the one for me. OC with Adrian Peterson & Marshawn Lynch. Can maximize current talent on roster and has been OC on 4 teams and interm HC with 2. Has ties to Saleh in Seattle. Sure he called the pass in the SB instead of handing the ball to Lynch but I can live with that mistake, he won't do that again.

Edit* - If rumors of Nathaniel Hackett wanting to take more of a back seat roll then bringing him on board as the Senior Offensive Advisor in June in conjunction with a Rodgers trade would make a ton of sense.
