Elijah Moore told MLF to GFY

JETS SB

I guess we have to give them the benefit of the doubt since it is a young staff but our coaching staff as a whole is fair to poor and you get the feeling flying by the seat of their pants most of the time.

What we are hearing going on behind the scenes we have seen glimpses of that same unstructured environment during games.

it's funny that this is the big takeaway from the Rosenblatt article.

that a WR cursed at the OC after a win.

We all kinda already knew that

Saleh sent him home as discipline and put him in the doghouse for like the whole season

the Jets "broke" Elijah Moore but it didn't make the QB position any better.

He didn't express it right but Moore was correct about everything.

weird, because you said Saleh is a really good coach, because he sets the tone and stuff

wait, if he is a good coach, why did he discipline Moore for something that was Zachs fault? im confused, is that good tone setting?

i said Moore didn't express it the right way and that's what he got disciplined for

are you a human or chatGPT programmed to love Zach?

Follow up question how come you want Saleh to be a better leader but ignore Zach's role as a leader?

when this whole thing went down, Zach was like meme Leonardo DiCaprio "I'd love to throw it 50x a game, meheheheheh"

no one is a worse leader than Zach and no one gets paid more to lead than Zach. His "I'll make the next QB hell" comments? is that the way a franchise QB is supposed act

according to the free market, Zach is worth 10x what Saleh is worth. Zach is worth 30x what MLF is worth

I know you won't respond to this point because you haven't responded when other posters have

but the leadership problem with this team is at QB not at HC

Might be an unpopular opinion but I think Moore is a JAG.  There's one play that makes me scratch my head I believe in the Vikings game when he couldn't get two feet down with the catch before going out of bounds.  Most NFL receivers would've and I haven't gotten past it.

I couldnt care less about ZW, I care about the Jets. I believe that those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat their mistakes. The Jets don't learn from their mistakes.

Good HC's and good orgs find good QB's, bad ones don't. Its not a lottery pick

When were the exit interviews was MLF fired before or after them?   I have a feeling they were on the fence about firing him and the exit interviews were bad for the offensive staff which made it impossible for Saleh to defend them.  The players on this team seem to be smarter than the fanbase they were off Zach and MLF long before the fans.....seems like the locker room didn't have positive vibes only.

the big takeaway as that Zach was as bad in practice as he was in games.  We were lied to that he did well in preseason practice. All B.S.

Also, the confirmation that MLF is socially inept and avoids clear and direct communication with his players.

yeah dude at 30 million dollars, ZW is the Jets.

that pick was the highest Jets pick since Keyshawn Johnson.

His bonus? Zach is the highest paid player in franchise history. not adjusting for inflation his 2 overall bonus was more than Sanchez and Revis got.

the mistake you're talking about isn't one of coaching it's one of drafting.

Really, if you are a young, green OC with no track record of success, and then you have little, if any, success in the position, players are not going to stand behind you because you do not have the track record to prove that you CAN do the job. It's like when BP would put on the SB rings when he met with free agents. It was tangible evidence that BP could get the job done. MiLF had nothing to shield him from player criticism and doubts. So, when the house of cards began to fall he suffered a death by a thousand cuts.

Wouldn't mind drafting a stud receiver in round 1 if a top OL isn't there and a WR is. Maybe sign Hopkins if we can and trade Moore for OT depth - a center maybe?

Saleh's a joke.  No discipline or professionalism anywhere.

OC calls out players; Players call out coaches and other players; Toddler temper tantrums after a teammate makes a bad play; Backup QB t-shirts; Players not showing up to play after talking sh*t all week.

What's next?  Players wearing Sean Payton T-shirts in mini-camp?

Why are you looking for a QB to need to be a leader so early in his career... Most QBs are not this early...

So MLF was inflexible and didn't help Zach... But somehow this is all zachs fault?... I know you hate him... But why can you not see that MLF made it go from mediocre to terrible... Why couldn't he adapt so he could learn over time...

Everyone gave Brady sh*t when he first got the starting gig for years because he played in a 'dumb' offense that was easy for him to read and throw quick screens... But yet MLF didn't change his scheme to the fact that multiple wrs complained about it and couldn't generate a running game...

I don't think you are giving MLF enough blame for how bad he made this...

Is it possible to make Zach a good qb... We have no idea because he was forced to learn an offense that was very difficult for qbs and wrs... Which didn't even give Zach a Chance... Now the jets are stuck in qb hell because of the inflexibility of an OC, no matter how stupid Zach is.

you can't fix the QB position mid-season.
