Zach Wilson is bad at football because in the 1.8 seconds he has to process the information he’s getting about the defense and his targets before he lets it go he can’t do it fast enough, and along the way he loses the muscle memory requiring his feet , hips and shoulders to be connected for an accurate NFL caliber throw. He fell in love with the praise and attention he gets for hero plays and bombs. He grew up a Rodgers fan and tries to emulate him, but just doesn’t have the same experience and mind to pull it off. He was ridiculously over drafted and thrown into the fire on a bottom 5 roster with newbie , clueless coaches which didn’t help  

 It’s killing me that I can’t find it, but over the summer someone posted an analysis of the last 50 rookie QBs with at least 6 starts I think it was, and Zach was 47 I think. In between Josh Rosen and Eli. I think Jamarcus Russell was #50. What was interesting about the comparison is it included all the poor guys that got taken by crap teams with no talent. Even in that group, Zach came up short.
So this season was about finding out if he’s closer to Rosen or Eli. It’s Rosen. I really hope we never see him start again.  It’s over. 
 

is it too much to ask that when we talk about why he sucks at footballing that we discuss, I don’t know, football?  
 

Has hot take sports radio and Twitter killed that ?

I see a few Zach haters couldn’t wait to buy into this false, irresponsible reporting ..and run with it. 

Jets need a new QB and JD will acquire one.
However Zach, by all credible reports, has a good work ethic.
He may still have a good career in the NFL..but it very likely will not be with the “win now” Jets.

Woody is of course the King Charles in this scenario, King all media leaks, he certainly learned something in London.

I'm not a big "both sides do it" guy but this is a mud slinging battle and my prediction is Zach has the better PR team the blessing of King Woody and will be QB1 by  late July

I thought it was very interesting how quickly Rapoport got dragged into this. One wonders who sent out the APB to tamp this story down with so much energy.
