Rodgers is 39 years old while Carr is 31. Carr allows this team to keep QW. Rodgers doesn't. That is a one year sample. Again, Rodgers' peaks have been significantly higher. You're assuming Carr's number goes down. The idea that the Jets can afford QW with Carr but not Rodgers strikes me as largely to entirely made up.
