The BIZARRE DRAMA Between Burger King and the 1974 Minnesota Vikings

Had to post this to honor the great jingle!  No need to watch the (18 minute!) video to hear the story of how a Viking playoff game wasn't going to be televised due to not being sold out, but BK swooped in and bought up the rest of the tickets.  The "drama" was about the logistics of the BK owner having to fly to the stadium and be there on time to beat the TV blackout deadline, despite bad weather in December.

Basically the story is a nothing-burger.

I love the history of the game and I found that story very interesting. When I was a kid, that's the kind of stuff you would learn about from NFL FILMS with Steve Sabol as the story teller. Thanks for sharing, Tuscany.
