Game Thread - CTM Search Party (GAME OVER)

Recommended Posts

The fat man lay on the ground, motionless and pale.

His eyes were open, but there was no life in them. He had been searching for the hippie CTM for weeks, but it had all come to an end here on the cold, damp ground.

He had been so close to his goal when his pursuers had caught up with him. He had put up a brave fight, but he had been outnumbered and outgunned. The bullets had ripped through his body like a hot knife through butter, leaving him lying here in a pool of his own blood.

He had thought he was invincible, that he would be able to achieve his goal no matter what. But he had been wrong. He had been too slow, too clumsy, and too outmatched. He had paid the ultimate price for his foolishness.

As he lay there, he thought back on his life. He realized that he had wasted so much time trying to find the hippie CTM. He had been too focused on his goal to take the time to appreciate the journey. Now it was too late.

He closed his eyes and breathed his last. His quest was over, and his life had come to an end. His body lay there, a testament to his foolishness, a reminder to others to not let their dreams consume them.

Hahaha.  I’ve played a simple version of this game in groups before.  (Scum and a doctor only).

I never realized how I was basically playing off of body language.  This is tricky.

Now that i got some sleep sorry I slept in and didn’t unvote in time @jgb I have commissioned a statue for the Town Square to honor your memory as a Jet’s fan.

Once upon a time there was a band of hippies who lived life freely, on their own terms. From their travels, they had each acquired a unique outlook on life, and although sometimes their perspectives clashed, they shared a mutual respect for one another.

The band of hippies loved listening to rock songs about trains and what they could symbolize. One song in particular, "Ride the Train," became their mantra, because it spoke of pushing outside of one's comfort zone and taking chances. To the hippies, the train was a metaphor for life: it was ever-changing, and the only way to stay on board was to embrace those changes.

The hippies were also fond of the song, "Mystery Train," because it spoke of a journey never ending, a refrain they felt mirrored the path of self-discovery they were on. Likewise, the classic tune, "Midnight Train to Georgia" reminded them of the importance of being open to new experiences.

At the end of each day, the hippies would gather around a campfire and share stories inspired by their interpretation of the train references in their favorite songs. They'd talk about how the train of life could take them anywhere, and how it was important to remember that despite hardships, there was an end-point.

The hippies lived life on their own terms, but they also had a deep understanding of what it meant to be on the train of life together.

And @Verbal we don’t need to discuss further atm. We can revisit if I don’t die.

Was the VC even close at this point? Nope. You had 2 votes on you and yours was the 8th on jgb. So what did you mean by this? Did you think you were going to die?

Never mind, found out why you voted him:

This post pretty effectively articulated why jgb is a good, informative Lynch.

It the bold also creates a good wifom.

So how informative was it for you? You seem to be taking credit for other people's call outs saying you did, but not like usual, it usually is to be a wise guy, here it feels like you're trying to prove you're town.
