Joe W. Namath
They need to rename this. Cant keep calling it the pro bowl. The pro bowl isnt being played anymore. You would get a different reaction from fans by renaming this.

If it was called something like "Super Bowl Festivities" people would not be sh!tting all over it. But because they are keeping the name of a game we all quite enjoyed years ago, its got a real bad connotation. "Hey guys, Sauce Gardner is playing dodgeball tomorrow in the Super Bow Festivities." See, totally different vibe.

Worst that could happen is a sprained thumb or dented forehead from a flung controller.Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

See, totally different vibe. I dunno....I would think this was pretty ridiculous, no matter what they called it. These guys are football players, the best of the best. I don't need to know how good they are are at hacky sack, or cornhole or whatever. Obviously, the pro bowl game ceased to be a spectacle a long time ago. Just gather these guys together, give them a nice meal and hand out some awards. Replacing the pointless game with even more pointless games just seems a bit...pointless. All major sports have adopted the same format in order to prevent major injuries to their superstar players. These events are high-risk; low reward and simply not worth risking the health of franchise players.
