Barry Sanders and OJ Simpson did it in sh*tty teams. Walter Payton was indeed sweetness. The others are just football players imo

Earl Campbell at 14?

This list is garbage based on that.

And....I saw Breece at the end of the list. 100% sure this is a troll post based on that alone.

Who in my top 13 are you placing below Campbell?

Breece may be a premature selection when I could have put Tony Dorsett or Derrick Henry there but I stand confident in my list

My eyes

I'm old enough to have seen Gayle Sayers play. He was an amazing back. In those days the hash marks were spread on the field and as Sayers pointed out, you only had one side of the field to run on and the defense knew you were coming. Didn't matter. And Sayers was one of the best punt returners of all time. Explosive in every sense. Shortened career due to injuries but a legendary back. Bo Jackson was all potential, but he never had a season where he ran for even a 1000 yards or scored more than five touchdowns. He should simply never be considered a HOF back based on the complete lack of playing time or accomplishments.

Bo Jackson was one the most talented ever.  Agree Walter Payton might be the best.  Jerome Bettis and Christian Okaye were amazing bruisers - an under appreciated style.

Barry Sanders also might be the best.  He did amazing things on bad teams when everyone knew it was coming.
