Darrelle Revis And Joe Klecko Learn They're Headed To Hall Of Fame

Revis is back in my good graces (not that anyone cares of course).

But I like that he talked as a former Jet last night.  You can't trust a mercenary, but he spoke like he's going in as a Jet which I honestly wasn't sure about with how acrimonious things with Woody and contracts got.

Last night was an absolutely wonderful night for me and my son as Jets fans.  Actually felt proud of the organization for the first time I can remember, if ever.

Joe’s a character.  Goes out of his way to make it about the fans and the Jets, not himself.  Proud to own a jersey with his name and number.

Shows you just how much the league’s changed, how money controls so much and how players nowadays are molded by it.  Shame.

It amazes me how debilitating CTE has been to Gastineau , yet Big Joe who banged heads with some of the meanest OL for years seems unaffected.

When you see how some of these older guys are suffering from orthopedic injuries, CTE, out of money or plain old dead how can anyone blame Revis for demanding to get paid. He was smart.

I don’t remember seeing too many cornerbacks suffering from debilitating injuries later on in life. Mostly lineman linebackers, big hitting safeties quarterbacks, who get their bills running back in the old days.

With Revis… It was always about the money. Great talent, just wish he was a better team guy.

Thats a silly take. He faced risk of permanent injury every time he stepped on the field. He maximized his pay. If I was his friend, brother, father I would have encouraged him to do so. WTF do the owners, F/O, coaches risk?
