Jets Request Permission to Interview Seth Ryan for Vacant WR Coaching Spot

A familiar name has hit the radar in the Jets search for a new wide receivers coach in Seth Ryan, son of former head coach Rex Ryan.

Jets requested permission to interview Lions’ assistant WR coach Seth Ryan for their WR coaching job. The son of Rex could land with the team his father once coached.

A former wide receiver with Clemson, the younger Ryan has had coaching stops in Los Angeles (2017-2020) and Detroit (2021-present) where he has worked his way up from intern to assistant wide receivers coach.
