I feel like this dude would be exactly what Cohen is to the Mets. Guy just comes in and makes it rain, spends a cool billion for regenerative technologies to reverse age Joe Montana or some sh*t.

@Gary Vee for Jets If you're really Gary Vee, please keep this suggestion in mind.

Nice dream, but according to the interwebs, his net worth is around $200-220 million.

A great accomplishment, no doubt. But he's not in the club of guys who can buy a sports team. For comparison, Steve Cohens net worth is like $16 BILLION.

200 million?

He can buy a few PSL's - thats about it

Gary Vee sucks.

He's all fortune cookie wisdom; constant content with no substance.

And his big plan is to re-roll with Zach Wilson?

Great. No thanks.

He's pretty much every modern day social media influencer. In this case, he's made some money off it, but he's not in billionaire, team owner land by a long shot.

That's his cash cow baby.

Exactly - I have this toy that makes me millions over millions every year and I basically do nothing.

I get to mingle with some of the richest people in the world.

Maybe I should sell - if this was anyone one of us -the answer would be an immediate no

Turning the Jets around would not be overly hard. Watch how quickly the Broncos turn around with Payton in. As an owner you have to be willing to get the right people in, support them with whatever they want, and get out of their way. Our owner won't do that, which is why we suck. I don't believe in curses and I don't believe in luck, its about competence, we don't have it, its not hard to get it

Most owners of sports teams are worth a fraction of what Cohen is. I’m not 100% sure, but I believe the Panthers owner, Tepper is second highest at 9 billion.

This is truly what we all have in mind for a Woody replacement: an insufferable wine snob who constantly talks about himself, and is using this interview as another self-promoting publicity stunt.

The reality on paper is Woody makes a multiple more on the Jets each year, in terms of the franchise's value appreciation, than wineman has made in his lifetime.

So for all the fan wishes, whether for this douche or a different one, I can't see any reason why the current douche would sell the team before he's dead.

Nope, and why would he?  He has nothing else going on.  He doesn't make a product, have a job, or really add anything of worth to the world.  His "job" is....owner of the Jets.  That's it.

If he was smart, he would sell. They're worth at least $6 billion. He doesn't see that money until the day he sells.
