Alka
Assuming you loved a QB? Because I would not! Out "geniuses" loved Zach Wilson enough to pick him at #2, and we all know how that worked out. We know we have a star in Sauce, and any draft pick is still a guess, no matter what everyone else thinks. Another thing: I'm sick of "we had a great meeting with Derek Carr!! We love Derek Carr!! What a great guy, blah, blah , blah. Give me a break! The Jets love everyone , and say nice things about everyone. If they love him so much, make him an offer and get him on the team immediately. Rodgers is great, but who knows what thoughts are going through his head. If it were me, I'm not waiting for him, if they really love Carr so much. I'm reluctant to believe anything Saleh and Joe Douglas say. I think if I played poker with these guys, I would walk home with nothing in my pocket. They are both good bullsh*tters!! 2 11 1 1

Popular Post Rangers9
Well we got burned 2 years ago so why trade a proven great player in one of the key positions on the field for an unknown quantity. The QB I might do it for is Caleb Williams if he was in this years draft but not for any of these guys.
Popular Post Jetsplayer21
Nope. I think this franchise is forever cursed with trying to draft QBS they however can draft the rare generational shutdown corner tho

Bocajetfan
My vote would be no. Any QB drafted will need to be developed, Jets coaching staff has not shown any ability to do this. Let me see the staff get production from a QB and I may have a bit more confidence in their ability to develop a rookie.

No. Whatever qb is available will take 2 or three seasons to develop. Sauce is developed right now.

undertow
None of these QBs are sure things it's one of those years the best QB could easily be taken in the 9-15 range...honestly I would trade Sauce for maybe 5 QBs in the league and that's about it.

UntouchableCrew
If there were a super elite Trevor Lawrence level QB in this draft, of course. In this draft? No. Sauce was 1st Team All Pro as a rookie at CB. That’s unheard of — he was the best player in last years draft.

Flashlite80
NO!! The best shutdown corner in the league with 4 years left is like a unicorn. Since 2000, a quarterback has been drafted #1, sixteen times. Let's start with Baker Mayfield, Jameis Winston, Sam Bradford, JaMarcus Russell or David Carr. Nearly one third of them were serious disappointments. The others include Alex Smith, Mike Vick, Cam Newton, Boomer Esiason, Eli Manning, Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford and Andrew Luck. Finally, Kyler Murray, Joe Burrows and Trevor Lawrence are the latest wave. Now, even with 20:20 hindsight, how many on that list would you trade Sauce for? If you eliminate the 3 drafted in the last 4 years, as too new to call, I am not sure I would trade Sauce for the careers of any one of the others. Would I call ether elite no , but much better than there talent level was considered.
