as a florida fan he has the physical tools but he kinda sucks. maybe he will turn it around with a decent oc and coach but i wouldnt touch in the first round. hes a big time gamble. i respect anyone who has the moxy to take him top 10 but if im a gm it is not the risk especially that pretty much all 1st round qbs play right away

This reminds me of Zachs throw at his pro day. Can the kid tear it up against a PRO defense?

Odd take. One throw does not = Cannon arm, 4.4 Speed,

At 6'5 250, and a combine that made Lamar and Cam Newtons Combine #s look like Vlad DuCasse's.

He's a more physically elite version of Josh Allen.

Yeah I watched him play a ton living in Gainesville some games he looked otherworldly others he looked like he didn't belong on the field....boom bust prospect the Jets can't take a chance on right now.

Oh, agree 100%. The Jets should stay 1000 miles away. But there are teams who could develop him into the Ultimate Weapon. The Jets are clearly not one of them.

Guys going to end up being  a top 5 pick apparently he’s crushing the interviews too. Could end up being QB1

Totally possible. He's a very high character guy, and that comes directly from people that have been around him. Teams are gonna fall in love.

the game that the pro-Richardson draftniks point to was vs a Utah defense that basically killed Caleb Williams. I don’t know, though. He looks to be three years away from being playable, and there aren’t three coaches in football who have three years to invest in developing him. Draft Twitter is all over him because they love the highlights and they’ve created this myth that he navigates a pocket well, based on one or two clips where he didn’t outright bail. I get the intrigue over the physical skills, but he’s so far away otherwise. Giants would be a good landing spot for him, but someone like the Raiders are going to take him and **** him up

We’re not drafting a qb this year with a high pick. Look at the landscape and understand that jobs are on the line. Nobody with their jobs at stake will use a valuable pick on a player they won’t be around to see if they pan out. High picks will be used for trades or immediate impact players. This staff and front office only cares about 2023 and proving they deserve to be employed in 2024.
