Story from Combine….Pats/ Raiders talking Mac Jones trade?

Recommended Posts

All former Pats coaches are full on idiots, all of them are so tied to Bellis umbilical chord that they seem to fall all over the total jag qbs belli drafts is perfect for them, just because they worked with the guy once.

Bailey Zappe looked as good as Jones last year so if belli can fleece the stupid raiders on a trade he should do it.

In other news from the combine, there is no contract resolution in sight for the Giants and Daniel Jones. With the Tuesday franchise tag deadline looming, it looks more and more likely that Daniel Jones will get the tag and Saquon Barkley will hit the open market when free agency starts March 15th. Saquon's dad, who's a Jets fan, would love nothing more than to see his son help Aaron Rodgers and the Jets win a Super Bowl.

Hey, nothing’s impossible, but Saquon joining the Jets this year seems about as unlikely as it can get.

Bill doesn't seem to like Mac, Josh might. Mac certainly missed Josh. This is a trade that wouldn’t surprise me. Still think another former Pats QB is higher on their list.

I am not sure about that 2nd paragraph, but as far as Saquon avoiding the franchise tag, well, that's just me trolling our resident Giants apologist with my tongue in my cheek. Lol

Just wondering which tag ? I like Jones but he's crazy if he thinks the NYG will give him an AVERAGE of $45 mil. for a long term deal. I would think they'd tag him, pay him the $32.5 mil and revisit it after next year. Let's see how he does. Can he duplicate 2022 ?

Trade Zach to NE.  Bill can certainly turn him around, and we will be haunted for another decade!  70 year young Bill.

Which QB has BB had success with post Brady?

I heard somewhere they’re zeroing in on a deal around 4 years 160 mill.

Interesting, because we're hearing Carr is $25 to $35 per.  Assuming that averages $40mm per.  Carr seems like the better player - and if you take Barkley away from Jones, he's likely to perform at a lower level.

The combine was on at the bar yesterday, and they scrolled the top 100 (or so) free agents across the screen. They had Jones at #6 and Carr at #7.
