Renegade - Steelers

Recommended Posts

I didn’t previously know about this song’s association with the Steelers until Saleh mentioned how big of a deal it was that we won there after they played it.

This is the type of signature and culture I want the Jets to develop.  We don’t have a history or legacy, but we have the J-E-T-S chant, we have a fog horn, so my question to you is what song would you make the get fired up anthem of the NYJ?

I’m sure this will get Rick-rolled but I’d like ideas for a badass and timeless hype song we can submit.

We r jealous of the Steelers cause they play a song during games?

Good grief……

Well hater, similar to hearing Frank Sinatra after a Yankees win it would be absolutely awesome.  Also fun, cool, a reason to smile, something to anticipate, and a great bonding experience for 70,000 fans.

Several on here have been in line with your thinking - the whole attitude needs to change.

right now a jet home game is similiar to minor league baseball.

finding the right theme song wound ce a step in the right direction

I nominate Eric Clapton   Got to Get Better in a Little While Live at the Crossroads Festival.
Wish I knew how to post it from You Tube fantastic version of this song

Second thought might be better after a loss

I have been there several times when they played it. This year when it happened I was like oh no. Zach Wilson had other plans though. But the crowd goes nuts. Completely bonkers.

Lunatic Fringe - by Red Rider.

I love that song. Love it.  Not sure it has the finish you need though. Music starts soft but it doesn't seem like it would whip people into a complete frenzy.

I can hear you coming And we know what you're after We're wise to you this time (We're wise to you this time) We won't let you kill the laughter

All we need is the best song and the best clothes and we’ll win 6 Super Bowls!

Jets fans have their priorities in order that’s for sure.

Geez, everyone get off of 80's lawn lol.

There is something too having a song that your fans identify with that just gets the blood flowing.

When the first chords of “Back in Black” hit for a big game in Kinnick, that place is pure bedlam.  VA Tech had a similar setup with Enter Sandman.  West Virginia plays “Country Roads” after wins.

It doesn’t always have to be related to the team lyrically, but the first minute or so of “Flying High Again” by Ozzy after a big series etc and the Stadium hitting the crescendo of “Flying High Again” could be goosebump worthy.
