While the Jets deal for safety Chuck Clark was announced several days ago, it didn’t become official until this afternoon when the NFL’s new league year started.

Clark was brought on board by Joe Douglas and company in exchange for a 2024 7th-round draft choice.  A versatile defender who saw action at safety, cornerback, slot and linebacker last year figures to be a nice piece to have for Jeff Ulbrich and Robert Saleh in 2024.

Good to have this confirmed. Would be interested to know Clark's opinion of Geno Stone, who the Ravens surprisingly didn't tender as an RFA.

He started some games for them at FS last year and, by all accounts, played well. Ravens fans seem pretty peeved that Baltimore didn't even value him at the low tender of $2.5M.

Just 24, he could be an interesting cheap option as a FS contender next to Clark at SS.
