Craig Carton could be leaving WFAN in multimillion-dollar decision

Recommended Posts

I’m not a fan of Carton and don’t get the media interest in him. I find him pretty much unlistenable. If he’s on the air I turn it off. But I guess he has a following. I did see him in person once years ago and he was Ok, friendly and personable seemed like a good guy.

Now that he's making all this money, he can pay back his bookies and the charities he ripped off.

Trying to understand; who is watching Carton's "hot takes" at 7AM weekdays. My guess would be the all important on a coke binge after a night of  regret of losing at table games and getting busy with tranny hookers in AC downmarket casinos demo?

One occasion I saw him up close was an event for local high school athletes that he and his bratty kids showed up and acted like it was all about them.

Never listened to him.

Looks like he learned nothing from his fall.

One thing that strikes me is how a guy with a radio show in the PM and a TV show in the AM can possibly watch any sports.

As an ex convict I am not a fan of Carton. My crime wasn’t as bad as his and it ruined my life. I can’t even drive Uber. I also don’t think he’s as talented as he thinks he is.

Carton gets to keep his career in broadcasting after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from people. Gotta love the two tiered justice system

Wow, these ratings are bad.  I hope FS1 keeps Carton because I don't watch that channel.

Bassmaster classic has better ratings. It’s a show about fishing that has already aired.

Whatever in the world "First Things First" is has double Carton's ratings.

Evan Roberts: the "co-host killer"...

First Benigno "retires," only to pop up again on the FAN when he can go solo without Evan...

Then Carton, in desperation, escapes Evan, only to take a position on an obscure show that was doomed to fail from the start...

How long before Tiki jumps ship?...

Benigno retired because he wanted to retire.  He does a podcast now (and occasional guest spot on WFAN).

Carton left because he was offered a lot of money (way more than he deserved) at FS1.

I think he was doing an gamblers anonymous type show on weekends.  I had no idea it continued on after he left though.  I've never heard it.
