Sounds like Beck is giving ZW some very positive advice.

Treat it as a challenge.  Your story is not written yet.  You're only in chapter 3.

Steve Young was benched 3 times.  The Chargers drafted Phillip Rivers despite having Drew Brees.  There are examples out there.

Let AR have the spotlight.  Your job right now is to put your nose to the grindstone and work hard.

Is there anything that would indicate Wilson’s sees this as a challenge? He’s a coaster.

Its actually the one thing I like about bringing in Rodgers.  Zach can sit and learn for 2 years, you then pick up his 5th year option and he gets a one year audition for a long term contract.  The timeline works perfectly.

Except you're not getting two years out of Rodgers. Hopefully he gets it together by year 4.

And you know that how?  You're in AR's inner circle?  You have no clue how many years Rodger's is going to play...no one does...not even him right now.

It was perfect.

While the SOJF contingent have given up on Wilson, Wilson has the ability to be that player who could make it after going through a similar situation that Brees and Young did.

The SOJF contingent — you mean the fans who understand math and probability.

Rodgers coming in is perfect timing .. the perfect bridge.

Draft another QB project.  Let him sit with Zach for at least one season.

Then compete for the starting gig.

It is POSSIBLE Zach CAN be the next Brees/Young ... and that is no lie.

Exactly.  Zach will learn from Rodgers and be even better when he’s the franchise qb 3 years from now
