With CJ Stroud achieving an 18% on the S2 Cognition test. If he falls to the 13th pick?

Just curious how you guys would feel if CJ Stroud, a once seemingly consensus top 2 pick, and consideration for #1 overall somehow fell to #13 overall.  Would you be interested in the team drafting him?  What would your reaction be, considering we may not have a shot at a high pick while AR is kicking around.  (Knock on much wood)

Or are you giving up completely on drafting QB's with premium picks and likely looking for another FA acquisition post AR?

Through the grapevine I heard his score was an 84.  But I can't verify that.

Believe it or not, Zach's best score was an 88. 

There's not enough info on this test yet to determine whether its a true indicator of success or not. A lot of people swear by it. But suggestions that there is provable evidence showing a low score = bust is fallacious, just as suggesting a high score = HOFer. Just another measurement that needs to be contextualized

i would like to see the history of how guys did in the NFL with low scores on this.

if they like him then get him. and dont trade for Rodgers. use those 2nd rd picks to build this kid a OL and sign Teddy B to start the season.

None of these dudes are upper echelon QB prospects.

You don’t bring in Rodgers just to immediately piss him off and draft his replacement in the Top 15.

Being honest, I'd never heard of the s2 test until now. The Wonderlic is the only one I knew of, and it's an understatement to say it isn't analogous/relevant how someone does on a 12 min math/vocab/logical deduction test vs. how he'll perform on a 2.7 second dropback from snap to throw.

BTW Brock Purdy got in the 95th percentile last year. Trey Lance about 90th percentile. I don't know if the article is conflating raw scores with percentiles or I am, but whatever. 

Zach Wilson scored an 84. (Don't know if that's raw score or %ile, but it doesn't seem to matter which). 

imo here's the bigger take-home stat:

Statistics on the S2 Cognition site show that the test has a 28.7% predictability rate for a quarterback’s career passer rating, while the Wonderlic was around .01%

sure, but if a guy widely expected to go in the top 2 or 3 is free-falling down the board, then maybe it isn't a rare opportunity to grab an elite prospect.

of course good-to-great QBs can be found anywhere and many of those taken early stink (see jets history).  i was more responding to the post saying it would be a rare opportunity, but if stroud is plummeting down the board, then i don't know if this is such a rare opportunity they'd be passing on.

if Stroud or Levi fell to 13th - I would take either one of them in heartbeat.  Take the loss on getting impact player this year (how many times have they done that anyway?) and hand him a clipboard and tell him to go sit his ass over there and learn from AR.
