RAB
What I like about bringing in Aaron Rodgers is that it addresses the present dearth of QB talent, but also possibly rehabilitates the QB who was once considered the future. He and Zach already have a good relationship. Zach is not threatening at all to Aaron, and Aaron genuinely seems to like Zach. Best case scenario is after two years of tutelage from one of the all-time greats, the light clicks on for Zach and he gets it, similar to what happened when Steve Young backed up Joe Montana for several years. Old conventional wisdom was that it took five years to develop an NFL Quarterback. Zach never should have started, which is obvious. Perhaps this reset will be just what is needed for the Jets to be contenders for a decade, rather than just the next couple of years. But I dream...
