Aaron Rodgers on Michael Kay show

Wow - what a great interview! I had no idea that Rodgers was so personable and motivated and professional. Jets hit a home run with this QB. Hope he can still play at a top level but he seems like a great guy. We couldn’t of asked for anything more at this point and I’m pretty sure we will be getting the Aaron Rodgers of a few years ago on the field.

Really like how respectful he is of the history of this franchise and especially Joe Namath.  He also sees the greatness in the bald beast like I do.

A heck of a season coming up jet fans.  Get ready!!!!!!!!!

Stay the course Joe!

I hated this move when you were all clamoring for it. I wanted nothing to do with him. After the photos of him showing up at Florham Park and these interviews I am about to pretend I was steering the Rodgers fan train.

Objectively this worked for the Broncos and Manning (to a point) and with the Bucs and Brady. It almost worked here with Favre. It's a 2 year window. It's a better shot than this franchise has had since, well, Favre had them at 8-3 on their way to the playoffs until his arm turned into week old spaghetti. Cautiously optimistic. Team has not had a home playoff game in a generation. So as a roll of the dice, what the f__, what have we got to lose but more losing.

"...mentor Zach. Help him regain his confidence and become the player we all know he can be."

This was not something the Jets were going to get out of Derek Carr or Jimmy G. It's a big part of what the hierarchy wanted with this move: a QB to help this team win now and hopefully help another QB win for us in the future when his time is done.

Not saying the plan will work, but it is the plan.

Am I losing it? Didn't you hate this trade 2 days ago?

Yes, hence why midnight last night that was over.  The franchise made a decision I didnt think they should.  With that being said, that doesnt mean that this team isnt going to be better in the short term.

Sometimes your franchise does things you dont agree with.  You accept it and move on.  Joe D finds a way to get JSN tomorrow night and hes back in my good graces.

We will have a very exciting season or two coming up.

There should be 0 jet fans who arent on board at this point.
