Would be great getting Dawand Jones or one of the S. We'll need someone like Branch or Johnson to cover these TEs and slot WRs while having the size & toughness to play the run.

A TE such as Darnell Washington is intriguing in both pass and run blocking. He's a project as a receiver but show the potential to be a good possession one.

I want one of the Centers.  Knowing how much some people in the organization like Brian Branch, it wouldn’t shock me if he’s the pick.

Not sure id wanna log in and see what this board looks like if they went Safety. Phew boy.

That said…if they did, the defense would be fn legit. That was def the weakest spot last season.

Have to consider Branch or Mayer if they’re there, don’t think either will be. I like the fits for Bergeron and Tippmann.

Hard to tell if they would view Keion White or Adetomiwa Adebawore as DT or DE options too. Both tweeners.

C not really a need for me with McGovern coming back.

A lot of picks before were up so I'm not hitching my wagon to anyone so I'm not disappointed.

As always more picks would be nice.

I could be mistaken, but o want to say McGovern was a better guard prior to signing here and shifting to center. Unless I’ve got it backwards.

I think McGovern and AVT give us a little bit of versatility to be able to grab the best OL available and plug him in.

Mauch, Torrence, Avila, JMS, Tippman… any of these guys has a place here.

My bigger concern is not having enough picks to get anything else out of this draft beyond a rotational EDGE.

I like the idea of getting one of the centers.

LT Becton / Brown

LG Laken

C  Draft / McGovern

RG AVT with the two centers as backups

RT Mitchell with AVT as backup in case of injury.

Plus Ogbuehi and Schweitzer

That’s a solid OL.

If the two centers are gone, try and get another impact player. Sign Ben Jones.

Been thinking this may be how they view it

Traditionally you can get starting RTs later in the draft.

Any draft experts have thoughts on OTs:

Saldiveri (Old Dominion)

Steen (Alabama)

Freeland (BYU)

Warren (Pitt)?

Duncan (Maryland) has the measurables and athleticism but reading he may lack intangibles, love of football.

Dawand Jones is going to be a steal like I said earlier he is a more athletic/better body composition of Orlando Brown Jr he also has better movement skills. But because he looks a little bit lumbering and awkward he is going to slip. I am absolutely crossing my fingers that he slips to buffalo he is going to be an All-Pro traditional right tackle... He was an all state basketball player too

Getting screwed by Pittsburgh at the same time they are beating up on our Dodgers has me a bit miffed.

If they grab an OL or a S my mood will improve.

I’m with you. Last night I was happy when the OTs were off the board, tonight I’d like to see them grab a guy they could start at C. Barring that, a CB/S will be fine with me. I think they expect to points on the board with the OL as constructed (although there’s always room for improvement), but a high scoring offense needs to be complimented by a defense that can stop the pass. Premium athlete with premium production at the most important position on the field outside of QB along with a safety who can pick off a pass? That’s not a bad first two rounds.

But again, I’m not a member of the First Church of the Holy Offensive Line. Those guys are fanatics.

I’d guess 5050 the jets trade back and get an extra day 3 pick.  And maybe even trade into round 3

I kinda like Freeland and Bergeron. Am I nuts?

Dawand I don't see. He has bectons weight problems with significantly slower feet

Would love either center. Get we have McGovern but he's on a backups contract

I really want oline in some capacity so I guess that means we going safety

Freeland is not that good. Combine warrior

Under different circumstances either Branch or Sanders would be a great addition here and we could just address center later.

But given that we added a situational edge rusher to our already decent list of edge rushers, we have other needs that now need to be filled so I think it likely has to be center or OT.

Will be interesting to see if JD can stick to the board and if Branch is there just pull the trigger and figure out the other positions later or have his hand forced by his earlier mistake.....

I don’t think the Jets traded Elijah Moore for a second round pick just to trade back out of the round. Since his first draft, Douglas has done better just making the pick or targeting someone in a trade up. I expect him to stick to his board once again this round.

We don’t have a starting FS on our roster.  Wouldn’t hate it in round 2

Tippman or JMS would make sense and give the Jets crazy interior depth with CMG being able to back up guard and center at a high level, but for a while I’ve felt that the Jets think their OL is better than the fans do.

So with that said I’m expecting Brian Branch, Michael Mayer, or a WR

I actually really like Tony Adams.  He was an UDFA due to Illinois moving him around year after year and had he played FS for a full season I think he would have been drafted.

He is fast enough to play centerfield and a good enough tackler to be the "last line of defense" so I think he could be a good fit.  That being said, I think he, Branch and Clark could be a great group and allow us to dump Whitehead
