Is it me or is this draft weak?

Time will tell but it seems like there is a shortage of stars in this draft especially at the premium positions - no game breaking wr’s, 10 year all pro LT’s, lockdown cb’s, etc….     Even the QB’s seem like projects and crapshoots.

Yup. It's also much more of a crapshoot with guys leaving school early. There's less tape to evaluate, and these kids enter the pros with less game experience, less physical an psychological maturity than before.

The first two rounds seem more like the kind of draft where youre hoping to draft average to above average starters. Last years draft seemed like they were a ton of potential super stars, this one not so much.

It's not just you. The top was really weak but the middle has some respectable guys.

Yeah weakest top 15 I have ever seen....might not have been a bad idea to just give that 13th pick to GB in the Rodgers deal and kept the rest of the assests....we treated that pick like gold and it wasn't even worth that much.

So FINALLY the draft is week at a time when the Jets dont have a top pick and are full of desperation at like 10 positions? This is music to my ears. I am used the the Jets:

1. Having a top 4 pick when there are only 3 qbs

2. Having a top 2 pick in a year where there are NO top qbs

3. Having so many holes to fill but picking a DT or safety with our top picks

or my favorite

4. Not addressing our most pressing need so we go into the draft clearly desperate and its obvious what we are going to pick...lol well we did that one this year but you get my point.
